In a ressesion, the defict will go up. There is less money for the government to collect. Add to that the "Bush Tax Cuts" and there is even less money. Obama could have gotten rid of the Tax Cut and lowered the deficit, but he chose (the more wise path IMO) to keep it in place (for now). Spending under Obama is actually pretty similar to Bush. There is just less money being collected...

Also, Psygnosis had one of the coolest logos in the biz. As soon as I read the name, that logo popped into my brain even though I hadn't thought about them for 20 years. BLOOD MONEY! |

diablo 2 was playable all the way through in a single session from version 1.0. Diablo 3 is not.
There is no possible way to play through the game without farming or AH. None. |

My internet has been down for a total of about an hour in the last 5 years. This is a just a whiney bitch point that isn't a realistic concern. |

Just stick to the free stuff. If it's anything like the PC the best stuff will always be free and made by some basement dwelling geek
That's a pretty good business model for developers.
I assume you were joking as no one is that stupid... |

As someone who makes games for kids for iOS devices I can say business is booming. One of our games Prize Machine (check it out if you wish - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/prize-machine/id377663033?mt=8) has had over 125,000 downloads in the past few months. I don't of any other delivery vehicle where 2 guys in a garage could get that kind of exposure with a $0 marketing budget.
I feel bad for the guys at Junction Point, I knew many of them and have worked with most of the core guys, but the world is changing. Big box games are going to be rarer and rarer. |

| Has Zero Punctuation jumped the shark? That review sounded like it was sped up by 50% in editing, I had no idea what it even was talking about... |

| Actually there are lots of different types of games now, Modern Combat, just released by Gameloft for example is probably the best handheld FPS out there. |
