erm can I just clear up the fact that Borris Johnson is a British MP and probably regarded as the most stupid we have.

I think the Sims and Sims 2 normally outsell WoW by rather a lot don't they?

I hope they don't fuck up the Conan MMPOG. If they keep it dirty and nitty gritty and violent and 'mature' or 'adult' or whatever the current rating system is, I might go get a credit card.

roflmao GOLD - gold to me would mean peeps are not gonna log on in 2/3 weeks time and download a patch at least 1 cd big. They mean it's in final beta and people are to stupid to not bitch about patching!

and for the first they released a Predator-only game
erm I might be showing my age but I do remember having a Predator game on my Amstrad 664. Checking on moby games I was 13 (bless). So the first pred only game was kinda before AvP

Not sure how you can consolize a game that was designed for consoles to begin with. Consolization can only occur when an original PC game or franchise is dumbed down to cater to consoles, ala Deus Ex: Invisible War, R6, Ghost Recon, etc.
Halo was originally a PC game - before Bill Gates had his wicked way with it and ported it to XBox - then he had the damn check to port it back and was surprised when it wasn't recieved well.
Oblivion is the biggest case of proper consolization I've seen since Deus Ex2. Seriously you know your in for trouble when the menu system is clearly designed with L + R buttons in mind for flipping screens.

well with any luck the rpg will follow the alien invasion earth thingy medoodah watsit plot from the comics/books.
As for the shooter - there's massive scope for that cause most people don't play shooters for plot - I'd say use the RPG to further the world and the shooter just for fun.
Btw this may be like 10-15 years ago but I seem to remember the AvP books (and prob comics) also being good.

So the fact that you can get a few mobs to spawn and attack a certain area that's innovative is it - that's enough to replace a series of high level dungeons?
Shadowlands added a ton of content - quite possibly true, unfortunatly it also introduced the hecks which are the 1 and only mob most people kill from level 1-220. How many damn times can you run up and down the same narrow strip of land killing the same damn mobs.
Seriously if you think the graphics look decent then you need to have you eyes and or brain examined. Is this guy in what looks like a basic Jobe suit your idea of decent?

The Graphics still look good because of how over the top they were at launch.

Nope the games he normally plays - written by Mr D Smart - this is hellbinder after all.
I played AO for about 6 months at the early part of last year - it does look like poo, even the much vaulted shadowlands. Also there was precisely 0 content. It is no more then a rather ugly grind mmo - you can get much better for free on the net now. And they may involve killing more then just hecks for 220 levels.
Oh it also sucessfully brings my PC to it's knees in terms of frame rate which EQ2 could on the highest settings whilst WOW could not even make the FPS flicker from 60. (3500+ 7800GT 2GB ram)
Even the AI raids were essentially just 1 instance from a decent MMO - but they sold that instance as if it were worthy of being an addon pack.
