Re Amy Winehouse - I don't like her music, I even prefer The Zuton's original of Valerie. But I'm really glad there's going to be no more topless beach photos of here in the UK tabloids, they really were a case of "I don't wanna click this - but I HAVE to".

That said now she's dead the "I don't wanna click this - but I HAVE to" of a new topless beach photo would be even more compelling from morbid curiosity. Guess I'd better pray they don't bury her at sea.

Amy Winehouse - the Anti-Viagra.

Most console piracy is no more difficult than installing a virtual DVD drive on a pc. It takes very basic knowledge.

The cake's may not be a lie - but that quote being Marie Antoinette probably is a lie though:

Honestly - my biggest issue playing it was actually the really rabid SW fans. One took me from the semi-noob zone across at least half a planet to show me his jedi temple which he'd built. Explaining all the ranks of everyone and what role they all had to play.

Except there was nobody else an actual member of this guild/coven/council etc etc. It was just him - and his dreams of grandeur. After that - aside from the fact I had NO idea where I was I never logged in again in case another weirdo approached me. That's the same reason I don't play STO, Matrix Online (that still going?), DC Universe etc etc.

Gamer geeks are often also film or comicbook geeks - but when an online world crosses the boundaries and tries to mate them the results can be truly creepy.

This guy better hurry up and retire - his in desperate need of his gold watch. The one he has at the moment is running about 5 years slow.

TBH the only thing that truly impressed as a game was the facial acting. The overall plot was covered with band aids, the main character made arbitrary choices which 99.9% of the gaming public couldn't relate to, the world itself was a total drag - after the fourth mission I made my partner drive everywhere. And last but by no means least - within 5 minutes of the first level your forced to totally contaminate evidence (and no that's not a historical mixup, after a discussion with my wife I looked up when the FBI opened a fingerprint unit and it was before this games setting).

Without the superb vocal/facial acting LA Noire is a very questionable title - I really hope rockstar owns the tech to that side as well.

The greatest compliment I could pay this game now was to say it's plot rivalled an Agatha Christie novel - instead I can only say this game's plot was worse than Roger Rabbit and possibly even worse than an episode of Heart to Heart.

Too bad this wasn't caught before they were packaged. Had a human been present, the stench would most definitely been noticed at that time!

Not strictly true - if you've never worked in a factory let me clarify their are some naturally pungent characters at work in the place anyway. Mistaken rancid chicken for your co-worker is probably a common problem.

In regard to the ARM article - great for tablets, but why are most phones becoming tablets. Their HUGE! honest to god whilst slightly thinner the latest and greatest phones are the same size as a 1980s brick. People need to get past this "my phone can do everything" mentality and aim for a phone to be a phone, a tablet to be a tablet and a PC to be a PC.

Latest one I've seen? A 3d phone - wtf? who really wants to sit down and watch a 3d movie on their 4.3" phone screen.

I still just want a phone built into my watch - that would do me. Sod Angry Birds, I want to have a stylish watch I can make phone calls on.

I had to upgrade last week and went for the smallest smartphone on the market - yes I like the fact I can tag my car and find it again in a festival carpark. And yes I like the fact I can use it to work out my mpg or check the weather. But whilst I could play angry birds on it - I'd much rather pick up my daughters Ipad for a game then play it on my phone.

Don't worry blue - I totally failed to get my BBQ alight properly the other day. I'm even considering switching to gas. I wouldn't mind but I'd spent 6 hours making burgers, prepping ribs, marinading chicken etc etc.

You know damn well if I'd just bought a frozen meat pack from the supermarket it would have cooked to perfection.

I really want Arkham City - but the catwoman segments leave me cold. She's just comes across as a slut being written by a teenage boy. There's nothing seductive about her - she's just a skank.

Ohhh 10 million minecrafters - or as I like to call them "people I don't want to spend the evening with".

BTW you do realise when Tiger Woods has sex with an Opera singer and their baby has sex with a Minecrafter. The unholy trinity of golf+opera+minecraft will bring about the end of the world!!!!

PS I'm drunk

Actually did get into this a while ago - was loving totorga (sp). Bought the main game and the expansion. Logged in twice after what was really just the tutorial/n00b area.

That said I'm REALLY close to rejoining wow - luckily things keep stopping me (Yakuza 3+4, Alice, Duke etc etc). Not great reasons not to rejoin but still better than an MMO.

I liked ME2 - as a shooter with a bit of a story. Wouldn't really say it was an RPG but I did enjoy it.

Except the stupid planet scanning bit - couldn't be bothered with that. But hey that's what trainers are made for.

I really like the idea of a Star Wars MMO - but I hate the idea of having to play with star wars junkies. This is kinda like STO - I like the principal of STO - but I don't wanna spend the evening with trekkies.

Honestly - nice idea on having a SW MMO but SW ended 28 years ago. I no more want to play a Star Wars MMO than I do a Lost Boys mmo.

Read this fondly - until they mentioned Hecklers. I'll never forget finally getting to level 170 and the new frost level I could enter asking where we were off too to level and was told - hecks. After TOTW it seemed to be all hecks all the time.

Are you a suit? If they intended on to release this for the PC market they should of developed it properly, as they did for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Why should the PC be the red headed step child?

FFS No I'm not - and it's the red headed step child because they sell a lot more copies to kids on consoles rather than people with a pc which can actually run DX11.

So by "our" and "we've", you are referring to the company you work for? You do not run the company Crytek but you may speak for them. You are getting paid to work on the patch, and even though your company is not getting funds specially for this patch/pack, I believe it would definitely increase sales of the PC version after it's this is released. The DX11 stuff will probably be marketed and advertised, and if it's better people will probably want it more, right?

Nah was quoting also in the style of the press release - I'm a chef

Gone back and edited it to clarify things.
