There needs to be a rule made regarding acronyms. Because after like 5 letters its just not worth abbreviating anymore!

Vincent D'Onofrio's avatar looks like a bobblehead! Agravatted because I love CI, one of my favorite shows! I do like how they approach Goren's style by changing emotional approaches. Not including Eames is just plain dumb tho. The older L&O games had Brisco & Green, why not here? Oh well, might be good, we'll see.

Was the last one a console to pc port? I believe they were developed in parallel, but were separate efforts. I don't think it was a port.

after the KOTOR2 fiasco Well, lets assign blame where its due. There is solid evidence that Obsidian was not allowed to complete KOTOR2 as it was originally designed. You can thank the narrow minded suits at LucasArts for that. KOTOR2 overall is a great game, IMO, which suffered from a horrible, horrible ending that was taped togehter at the last second.

I would be interested in seeing how well the controls work while playing on the PSP, with just that one teeny tiny analog stick.

GTA-like genre: Many (violent) possibilities in an enormous city. "Jack Thompson, please pick on us so we can get some publicity for this sack of crap! We will even make hot coffee for you!"
Excellent 'state of the art' graphics and gameplay. Dr. Evil says:Marvel at our "graphics" and "gameplay"!
Intriguing single player story filled with cut scenes. Just as fun as those FMV games we keep hearing about.
Utilises heavy, high-end pixel shaders to deliver stunning graphics and gameplay. Our idea of optimizing code is sending our pixels to Jenny Craig. Hey, we can't be seen in public with fat pixels!

Fable |

Fable was actually a game I purchased along with my Xbox. I had no preconceptions about it when I played it, and I actually enjoyed it, although it was a bit short. It did have a nice, storybook like charm to it, and having the tutorial run throughout your childhood was a really nice touch. It was only months after I played it that I read the news stories of what a letdown it was because Molyneux promised this ridiculously detailed and dynamic world, where you could tell supposedly how long the trees have aged.
Anyway, my point is taken on its own Fable is a fun little RPG, but its certainly nothing to get all in an uproar about. If you can pick this up used at EB or something, great. I certainly wouldn't recommend paying $50 for it.

Hmmm...looks like they might finally be adding a real campaign with a story line. That would be cool, might need to take another look at this game.

Wow, for a game so many people are saying they are not interested in there sure are a lot of postings.
As for me, I dunno, I'd probably want to see a demo of this thing first, before deciding.

As I recall, ATI for the most part has always created great hardware, they were just no any good at writing software. Catalyst has done a great job of improving their driver support, but ATI still lacks in other departments. For example, their TV tuning and capturing software is still crap. I have their new HDTV tuner board, and I could not get their software to work to save my life. Instead I went out and got Window XP Media Center Edition and used the native tuning and recording software that come with it. Works great! HDTV comes across beautifully, and the DVR functions are terrific.

But the ESRB has no power to inflict "punitive" actions, if by that they mean financial penalties or anything. The worst they could do is either make the game AO, or actually REMOVE their rating from said game. Exactly. They have no legislative authority to impose any kind of financial sanctions.
Put a damn sticker on the box that says "The ESRB rating is only valid for the game as is included in this box. Any modification made to this game by any source will invalidate the rating." Isn't this what they do already for on-line games? Something along the lines of "experience may change with on-line play". Basically a T-rated game does not stop people from cursing or using racial epithets, assuming they can get around the chat filter. So do the same for this, as Creston said.
Anyway, isn't participation in the ESRB voluntary anyway? If a publisher decides to drop ratings all together and ignore ESRB guidelines, there is nothing legally stopping them from doing so.
