So the complaint is: its a console port, but the thing that you hate most about it isn't on the console.
Hmm...
To quote Bender: "Interesting...no, wait, the other thing...tedious!" |

| There is a thermal-like vision you can select that will let you see cloaked enemies. Plus there is enough of a shimmer on the cloak that you can see it if you pay attention. |

| I guess I don't understand the appeal of this. Take into account how close you normally sit to a PC, and then imagine yourself waving a wand at the display that is 2 feet in front of you. It would be awkward and ridiculous. I guess I could see it if your PC was connected to your PC, but do a lot of people really do that? |

| Well one nice thing they changed up in the early game is that after you finish the tutorial area you can now go straight to the main city. Before when you completed the tutorial area you picked from two starting areas that were slightly larger but kind of lame and boring IMO. Now atleast you can get straight into the more interesting areas. |

I played the little flash based game that preceded DA1, that was actually kinda fun and it didn't require me to surrender all my privacy. |

See, now when you put it that way, it just sounds...
...yeah, there's no way to make that sound good.

Xirix wrote on Jan 17, 2011, 01:00: DCUO...it's more like a console title then a PC one isn't it? If so..no thanks. Very much so, its essentially an MMO action game. It begs to be played with a 360 gamepad or similar controller.
Personally, I'm on a 10 day trial from a buddy key, really enjoying it so far. Its a welcome change from the typical MMO. Sadly, the servers were down on Sunday, but looking forward to more. |

| You know to me the song itself isn't so awesome as the fact that GLaDOS was singing it in the context of Portal's ending. When the dude sings it himself its actually pretty awful, IMO. |

Does anyone else notice a weird disconnect between the facial scans and the body models in those LA Noire screenshots? I guess that is inherent in the scanning tech they are using. Impressive tech, to be sure, but for some reason it looks more distracting to me than just a normal 3D model. I suppose it also has something to do with the actors having to do their thing whilst tied to a barber's chair. |

| If you haven't played Fable 3 you are not missing out on anything special. It is a HUGE step back from Fabe 2 in a lot of ways, its much shorter and the ending is asinine. |
