I think that's a different device

Yeah, I confused the Omni Treadmill with the Omni Vagina. My bad.

Ok, the concept is fucking awesome, HOWEVER, if all it does it simulate you pressing WASD to move, space to hump, etc, it's not really that great. It needs in-game support to translate movement on a 1 to 1 basis. Plus, you have to wear special shoes? I have a hard time finding shoes in the right size as it is.

Hah, 1 to 1 basis. That'd get a lot of gamers to quit using it real fast when they realize how fat and slow they are. I know I wouldn't last long.

Lol. The people at my shooting range that are going to outlast everyone during the zombie apocalypse because they have guns...but weigh so much that they are out of breath after walking 10 feet from the car to the firing line. Sorry pal, even classic zombies are faster than you.

I think the whole tablet interfacing with games thing is very cool. The new Tom Clancy game has that as well. Makes me sad that I sold my tablet a while ago.

I thought the thumbnails were a cool idea. I've been here forever, though, and will probably be here until you stop posting news, so whatever works for you. I am old and set in my gaming news ways, I guess.

Moderation? I prefer no personal attacks, but a lot of people have issues with debating without resorting to name calling or insults. Most of those people are on my ignore list. Developers? Eh, I guess they should be treated like people too, huh? As long as I can curse occasionally, as in "Wow, that fucking game just blew my mind!" then I don't really care.

Another vote for Amazon here. Great customer service and selection of products. Shipping with Prime cannot be beat either.

Conservative media’s attacks on climate science effectively erode viewers’ belief in scientists.

Conservative media, as "head-in-the-sand" and irrational as it tends to be, isn't the only problem. Too many scientists are spinning the data and experiments to fit their pre-conceived notions rather than allowing their research to shape their conclusions which has also helped weaken the public's trust in climate science. It has gotten too political an issue to trust either side and finding what I consider to be an objective source is getting very difficult.

Holy shit, rationality! This! This exactly! So tired of hearing how I must be a Republican or blah blah blah because I don't swallow the whole thing hook line and sinker.

That was actually my first though upon seeing the character models, Cutter. Oh, they went Disney so that the PS4 can keep up with PCs with this one.

I don't blame them, however. It's the perfect game to get a significant boost in console sales with. Why spend thousands on a PC to play at the highest graphical settings when you can drop $400 and never have to upgrade? I know a ton of people who play WoW who would love nothing more than to never have to worry about their PC dying or needing an upgrade or having crazy OS problems.

Shit, it's even starting to sound good to me. I would love it if I could play on m,y PC when I wanted but then just log onto the PS4 and keep playing in the living room.

Very excited by the possibilities. We'll see if they can deliver. The only thing I detested was the Disney look of the characters. It just looked out of place, as others have said. I need to find a a link to someplace that recorded the stream, because I had to leave partway through to make it to the bank.

Hahaha, if people would simply live by the golden rule. I mean, you don't even have to be religious to see that treating others like you want to be treated would make this mudball much more liveable.

What do you mean don't have to be religious? Since when has religion ever been the measure of how empathetic people are toward each other? If you have a problem with right and wrong you lack empathy and a decent upbringing, not religion.

Calm down, Captain Cutter. I simply mean that the Golden Rule is traditionally linked with religion, (And not just Christianity.) and that you don't have to be religious to abide by it.

And then you come by to tell me that you don't need to be religious. Thanks, I might have missed that.

Mmm, hmmm. 10 years. Right. The new 360 slims are much better than the old RROD consoles, but I think 10 years is a bit of a stretch.

If it was so important for consumers to accept the WiiU, they shouldn't have made it such a piece of shit. I love the controller. the second screen thing has great potential. Everything else sucks. It's slow as fuck to do anything, and it's already behind technologically speaking. It just does nothing well.

Still playing. About 8 hours sunk in right now. Happy to see some iconic SR weapons showing up, as well as upgraded spells and equipment. The story is pretty cool. Very linear, but I don't expect miracles from a shoe string budget.

I like it so far, but I really wish you'd started off more powerful than you do. A phys-adept is basically useless at the start, which isn't really how it worked in the PnP game (where they were fucking monsters.)

Perhaps I just haven't figured my guy out yet, but so far my companions are the ones doing all the killing, as my guy just spends his time trying to run up to someone, only to then do a staggering 5 damage.

Creston
You just need to get some of the chi powers, specifically the killing hands chi thing for the adept. It's one of the first things, and it adds +10 to damage, so it makes your character (even at the start) do about 15 damage per punch. I love doing way more than my gun toting guys.

Damn, i went mage and I have nothing that touches 15 dmg a shot.

someone needs to come up with a whole new system of government and finance.

Golly, you mean like a socialist government? Something where a balance is struck that its fair to everyone?

Something that has yet to ever happen in the history of man?

That's ridiculously high for a game that old. Why anyone in the world would STILL be willing to pay 15 bucks a month to play this is simply beyond my comprehension.

This. Old games aren't worth as much.

Up until a couple of years ago people were still paying to play the original Everquest. We're talking over decade of subs. I really don't see AB giving up the sub fees if they don't have to, and they don't.

I just can't force myself to finish Pandaria. It took me months to even start it, and then I couldn't be bothered to play for more than a month. Rift is fun once in a while, and GW2 sucks up a lot of my MMO time. I'm not really into any other MMOs on the horizon until EQNExt. (Just because I beta'd the original EQ, played EQII, and am curious to see what they will do.)

So they have money to buy companies but not pay taxes, eh?

They pay taxes (probably) but international finance is complex. There are PHD programs in it. Essentially international corps pay taxes where they make and bank the money. If they make it in Germany, Germany taxes the income. If they take that money and transfer it to the US, then they pay taxes on the income in the US as well. So, they've now made the money once and paid taxes on it twice.

Of course, I have no sympathy. I make my money, it's taxed when I earn it and taxed when I spend it, and I have no chance in hell of paying negative tax like Coca-Cola or some other giant companies that make billions but somehow get a refund anyway.
