That's a false dilemma, there is more than the 2 extremes. RPS could report things like this Xbox report and they should not report what James says as fact. They report "No such discussion had taken place. No such “repeated” offense had occurred." as fact, whereas it is presumably solely based on what James has told them.

No such discussion had taken place. No such “repeated” offense had occurred. Which makes the refusal to even discuss this ban somewhat problematic. Since he received this email, James has not been able to access any of his Origin games online.

You need to enter your code to get early access, I got my code immediately from Amazon when I ordered. So if you haven't done that you should soon, according to this announcement, if you want more time to play ahead of release.

I can cancel my order before the item actually ships but I can't transfer ownership without handing over my Origin account. So selling an unopened CE for profit won't be a possibility unless you use a throwaway Origin account as you would need to transfer that to the buyer.

YOU DO NOT NEED ORIGIN FOR THIS GAME.

Origin is not why this game is not sold on steam. Reason is EA battle with Valve. There are plenty of games on steam that require 3rd party account or drm and so BF3 could be sold on steam easily and require origin on top of it. If its something EA don't agree on with Valve rules then why dont EA take all their games off steam? Make a statement. Otherwise EA needs to stop blaming Valve and admit to their own agenda.
