Wow, 16 years. I don't think I started reading until 98, but, still. Wow. Congrats, man!

In other news: Halliburton, can they BE more evil?

Given our predilection for breeding like rabbits - especially in underdeveloped countries that can least afford to do so - and our piss-poor management of resources, not to mention our seeming inability to get along with each other, it doesn't seem like the sun is going to be a problem.

If anything, we need some people off-world just in case those of us remaining decide to do something extraordinarily stupid.

Heh, that's my favorite.

Well, store X has them for $20 cheaper. Will you price match?

No, because if store X had it in stock you would have bought it there.

That is just tooooo fucking cruel. The guy spends like an hour getting up there, and then BAM. Trebuchet Denial.

Hehe, that was awesome. Not so awesome when it happens to you, but funny to see that others have the same issues.

It's TRU. They don't really carry PC games anyway. They tried to cash in on what they thought was a sure thing and got burned, and now they're dumping stock.

Meanwhile, everyone else still has it as $60. And I bet a good portion of independents are stocking up on TRUs misfortune.

Can't wait for this game to come in today. Been looking forward to it. Now to fit it in between GW2 and BL2, all while tryign to finish some of the single players so I have time for the rest of the games coming out this month. And next month. Stupid publishers all putting them out at the same time.

On another note, claiming your opinion is fact, but another person is being disingenuous for giving his opinion? Classic.

Not knowing anything about coding or programming, I'm surprised developers imbed licensed software in their game's source code. I figured that would be separate.

Well, a lot of times the whole game engine is licensed. SWTOR licensed the game engine from Heroes Journey. They don't own the engine that they built the game on. They also licensed the back end from another company, and so on and so forth. So, some of the game mechanics are theirs, and the art and sound assets, but all the rest of the code was bought from someone else and they have no right to pass it on to anybody else.

I wonder why they can't release source that doesn't contain licensed code?

They likely used pre-packaged solutions for some of their games stuff. You can't release the code if it contains things like Havoc physics or whatnot because their code is not yours to release, and it's obviously needed for the game to function.

Hell no, that's sexist. We don't live in the middle ages anymore. Should be Parents and children first. Then everyone for themselves.

TOR is a huge failure, that lacks innovation, and uses the outdated hero engine.

It's sad that Bioware butchered this MMO and the Star Wars franchise.

To be fair, Lucas beat them to butchering the Star Wars franchise.

Yup, Die Hard is my favorite Christmas movie.

Die Hard 2 was good. 3 was good. 4, eh. It's better if you watch the unrated one, but still not as good as the others. This one? We'll see.

Oh and I dont agree with your graphics point. It does look better, but its nowhere near "top quality modern graphics". Look close, most of the environment is low poly too. Actually not much more polies than WoW. The chars and NPCs look nice, since they have a much higher poly count, but look at the buildings, trees, rocks, even the vegetation textures, etc. And that also explains why its running pretty good on my 4 year old mid range graphics card.

And that explains why you think it doesn't look as good as it does.

The biggest problem with Panda is Guild Wars 2. Going back to a quest log from dynamic questing is jarring.

Yup, could not get back into the WoW combat. I tried. I really want to see the content. I just can't. I do like Pet battles though. Probably because I had over 100 before this expansion, and now they actually do something.

but I'm still holding out some SMALL hope for DA3.

Oh, Creston...

I know, but come on... DA:O was fucking AMAZING. I mean, that's likely in my top 5 RPGs of all time, so if enough of that team remains, and EA's influence can be kept to a medium-or-less degree, and Mike Laidlaw gets the Nigerian Ass Flu for two years so he can't fuck shit up anymore, there's a CHANCE DA3 will be good.

Creston

I loved DA:O. DA2 was disappointing. I actually liked the combat better, but not the crazy appearing enemies. other than that, the game was ridiculous in its use of the same art assets over, and over, and over, and....Not to mention the small scope of the game compared to DA:O.

Mass Effect? Pretty good. ME2 was not as good, and I stopped playing like halfway through.

SWTOR made me swear off Bioware for good. Unless DA3 is the critical darling of the year, I won't even bother touching it. I'll wait for Creston to tell us how crap it was and thank God I didn't pay for it. ;D

Noooo, that was the best bug! I loved seeing new people try to find the right falling spot to start that.

I hate you.

(Yes, I did that several times before I figured out it must be broken.)

Glad my Charr is going to stop screaming like a bitch every time I drop 2 feet off a rock. Funny at first, really annoying after 2 weeks.

Still playing. I put in some time just about every day. Not because I feel I have to, but because I genuinely love this game. I tried to play some MoP, but I just cannot stand the combat in WoW after playing GW2. My WoW time has been relegated to pet battles between customers. (When I'm not sneaking in GW2 gathering/crafting time.)

Of course, my BL2 time has suffered. And I really want to play RE6, but my backlog is so huge right now. I still haven't finished Skyrim or Reckoning or AssCreedBro or Revalations, or Sabatuer or...

Opened my CE when my shipment came in today. Pretty. Installed the game onto my laptop. Just can't seem to press the subscribe button, though.

Back to Claptrap and GW2.

I broke down and subscribed. Hated every minute of combat. About to log out and play GW2 when my friend showed me pet battles. I have over 100 mini pets from when I played a lot. Now I can fight with them. Crap. I need more hours in a day.

It's annoying that the one feature I thought was the dumbest is pretty much the only thing I like so far. I keep trying to dodge in combat. No. Keep trying to hit F to interact with things. No. Blarg.

I don't bash it, it's just not really evolving at a rate that lets it keep up with newer games. Everyone is just tired of the WoW formula. And instead of evolving the game, they do stupid things like change the talents every few months and shorten the PVE portion of expansions.
