I'll grab this when it it hits the bargain bin for sure but $30 is just way too much for this. Anyone's who's never playhed LOTRO and looking for a new MMo to pass the time this is a good one. Still the best environments - artwise - of any game. Really feels like Middle-earth.

All in all, Diablo III is a greatly different game than its predecessor.

That RO2 review is pretty harsh, but I can't say I disagree with it. Presumably it will improve with time.

It just doesn't quite work. The mixture of arcade and sim elements ends up much, much less than the sum of the parts.

It does get a lot of things right though, so I have hope for it yet.

That's a pretty old video... you can get up to a GB/s read speeds just by raiding two cheap SATA3 drives now.
