It doesnt make a difference what you change in the fil. just change some of the settings and the game will update uits settings, and then change them back and the game should have the better graphics on then. THats all I did to fix it. later you can change settings more by using the my documents folder files. utengine.ini you see the bug seems to be that the game continues rendering the 3d items in its original resolution. whatever it first detected for your system, until you manually change some configs.

it is a bug in the demo. edit your C:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament 3 Demo\Engine\Config\BaseEngine.ini and it fixes the problem. Just the fact that this file is changed causes the game to update some other config files to the correct settings and fixes the problem. then you can revert this file safely.

If that thing has the communicator ring tone AND makes the same sound as the communicator when you open it, then I want it. Otherwise forget it.

Star Trek communicator's used subspace frequencies so that they could penetrate electro magnetic fields. We don't have that technology so yes it is a ways off yet.

Console to PC versions are consolitis afflicted but pc to console versions are dumbed down only for consoles. PC users will have full config access, and full modding access, like all id games and console users will be stuck with basically default settings.

Come on now. id has always released console versions YEARS after the pc version. They're not going to put off the opportunity to start collecting revenue on ETQW to have a multi platform launch when they have no idea how long it will take to get the console versions out.

so thegame wont be open ended anymore itll be a linear single player. thats not what we were waiting for. Even if its released tomorrow I wont go for it. It was at least a consideration before.

I dont even bend over to pick up dimes anymore. I paid for this mod and am only pissed because its copy protection scheme will not allow it to install.
