I haven't finished the first playthrough and I doubt I would have any interest in doing another playthrough.

$10 for a new character seems a little high.

Neverwinter wants $40 for their high end mount... The only thing new it does is moves 60% faster, no other skills.

If you are big time into BL2, $10 isn't so bad. Is this free for those with a season pass?

Justifying something over priced with something else that is over priced is a logical fallacy : )

Though I agree that if you're 'big time into BL2' the price is fine...

I loved the first, but couldn't get into the second much, so no DLC for me, unless the whole pack is like $5; I can wait the year(s).

On the anniversary of D3 the alpha for what could perhaps become the best ARPG of all time comes out.

Oh sweet, sweet irony, how I love thee.

Irregardless of D3, Grim Dawn will not be the best ARPG of all time...

I 'called' it first : )

I think their definition of 'gameplay' differs from mine...

I mean, there were 3 non-consecutive seconds that might be gameplay.

I picked up my 3DSXL from Walmart a few months back, when Castlevania came out, for $30 off, so it doesn't sound so clear cut as Nintendo saying 'no'... And I see the price back up at $200, so it wasn't a price drop (across the board).

I still hate the new name (change)... If for no other reason than it makes me wonder if a new M&M game is coming, with each tricky announcement.

The dev is truly a prick after all the lies and shit he pulled on terraria.

Which dev and what shit?

Terraria had a crapload of content for it's price, and apparently the main guy, after his hiatus with family, is looking to add some more (to the PC version)...

Also note, that Blue's 'This game from the folks behind Terraria' is misleading and inaccurate...

This is a really dumb, antiquated view that outs you as permanently single.
I guess you have a wife, and both of you play games? I'm sorry.

BTW, there's nothing antiquated about it. It's just common sense, really. If you're spending all your time gaming, then obviously you aren't spending your time being productive in other areas of life, not to mention spending time dealing with the things in life in general--that take up all the remaining time anyways--, such as full-time jobs, handling of kids, and the short evenings to prepare dinners and such. etc. etc.

Anything you've done to fit gaming into your schedule, is really, things not you've done but rather things you've sacrificed for gaming. Heh.

So you can have leisure time, but your wife cannot?

And what about all of us gaming bachelors, who takes after us? Cooks, cleans, works a job? Our parents?

Presumably, mothers, who own houses, seemingly by themselves, of which basements are furnished...

And to that I say... WTF is wrong with living in dad's basement?

Edit: Which witch would wear wood where we're with what we were?

Kickstarter fatigue.

People keep saying that word, yet projects keep getting funded at huge levels.

People claimed the MMO market was 'saturated' before WoW was a massive success...

I love the term pre-alpha...

As nowadays, calling your prototype 'alpha' doesn't conjure up enough acceptance that it's going to be craptastic... : )

I also referred to something (today) I'm working on as pre-alpha, but it's been like a week since I started, so perhaps more fitting.

I didn't think it looked bad... Could even be interesting...

Also, Blue, nowhere on the Kickstarter page does it say 'FPS', which is obvious from the non-FP part of the videos ; )

Which for me, is almost a guaranteed no... I prefer my shooters from the FP.

Mods are not the same thing as cheat codes, no clue what you're on about there but it seems totally irrational.

They aren't working on TL3 next, they're burnt out on TL stuff and working on something new in the future supposedly.

While TL2 mods have the potential to add a lot of new/interesting content and functionality, most of the ones up on steamworks (and the TL2 site) are 'cheat codes'... Double gold, longer buffs, better high end drop rates, etc... I don't run any of those because I know it would just kill the game for me, but I also remember how fun game genie mods were at times ; )

Irony abounds... I finally got into playing this a few weeks ago (and promptly added 100 hours /played time in that span), and I also looked into what mods were available recently, so seeing steamworks pop up on steam is neat : )

As for what I'm messing with... Beat the game initially on Normal (or the like), then Veteran, then Elite (Wand/Gun Focus based Outlander), and it's been fun, but I can hardly fathom what Hardcore elite is like, without a crap ton of twinking, because I ended up dying like 150 times throughout the first play through of Elite... Practice will help, but even without a few bugs (stuck in walls, or charged through areas into other groups), getting 'one shot' happens far too frequently. Though admittedly, I would stat different for Hardcore, but even so, with double the health I had, crits that do 60% of that hurt in any case, and you can only dodge so much : )

Did anyone get Bioshock from GMG and take the cash back instead of the store credit? If ya did, have you received the money yet?
I got mine the same day:

03/28/2013 Debit Card Transaction GREENMAN GAMING LONDON 03/27 $59.99
03/28/2013 Debit Card Transaction GREENMAN GAMING LONDON 03/27 -$14.00

How odd... Maybe because of the difference in location, but for mine, it was just discounted $15 when I bought it, so only one receipt, for $45.
