Isn't a Hackintosh a budget PC by nature?
Edit: On another note.. I stopped reading the article just about right away ' A 21" iMac looks like a prop in a science fiction movie, but it's glued together like an iPad, and if you want to add more memory or replace a failed hard disk, that's just too bad.'
Replacing a HD is a hassle, but adding more memory? Easier than with a case... Open a panel on the bottom, shove in a stick, boot, and good to go... Not hard with a case, but having to pull the whole case off, get around some wires in very often too-tight spacing, then pressing so hard you're sure you're about to snap it, or the MB that's bending underneath, I'll take the iMac route (for this one specific thing).

$10 for a new character seems a little high. Neverwinter wants $40 for their high end mount... The only thing new it does is moves 60% faster, no other skills.
If you are big time into BL2, $10 isn't so bad. Is this free for those with a season pass? Justifying something over priced with something else that is over priced is a logical fallacy : )
Though I agree that if you're 'big time into BL2' the price is fine...
I loved the first, but couldn't get into the second much, so no DLC for me, unless the whole pack is like $5; I can wait the year(s).

Oh sweet, sweet irony, how I love thee. Irregardless of D3, Grim Dawn will not be the best ARPG of all time...
I 'called' it first : )

I picked up my 3DSXL from Walmart a few months back, when Castlevania came out, for $30 off, so it doesn't sound so clear cut as Nintendo saying 'no'... And I see the price back up at $200, so it wasn't a price drop (across the board).

The site has already raised 450k... Good stuff : )
As for Chasm... Tried the demo, and no... Clunky keyboard controls... Not very actiony combat...

Terraria had a crapload of content for it's price, and apparently the main guy, after his hiatus with family, is looking to add some more (to the PC version)...
Also note, that Blue's 'This game from the folks behind Terraria' is misleading and inaccurate...

Verno wrote on Apr 8, 2013, 13:26: This is a really dumb, antiquated view that outs you as permanently single. I guess you have a wife, and both of you play games? I'm sorry.
BTW, there's nothing antiquated about it. It's just common sense, really. If you're spending all your time gaming, then obviously you aren't spending your time being productive in other areas of life, not to mention spending time dealing with the things in life in general--that take up all the remaining time anyways--, such as full-time jobs, handling of kids, and the short evenings to prepare dinners and such. etc. etc.
Anything you've done to fit gaming into your schedule, is really, things not you've done but rather things you've sacrificed for gaming. Heh. So you can have leisure time, but your wife cannot?
And what about all of us gaming bachelors, who takes after us? Cooks, cleans, works a job? Our parents? Presumably, mothers, who own houses, seemingly by themselves, of which basements are furnished...
And to that I say... WTF is wrong with living in dad's basement?
Edit: Which witch would wear wood where we're with what we were?

I love the term pre-alpha...
As nowadays, calling your prototype 'alpha' doesn't conjure up enough acceptance that it's going to be craptastic... : )
I also referred to something (today) I'm working on as pre-alpha, but it's been like a week since I started, so perhaps more fitting.

I didn't think it looked bad... Could even be interesting...
Also, Blue, nowhere on the Kickstarter page does it say 'FPS', which is obvious from the non-FP part of the videos ; )
Which for me, is almost a guaranteed no... I prefer my shooters from the FP.

Verno wrote on Apr 2, 2013, 10:30: Mods are not the same thing as cheat codes, no clue what you're on about there but it seems totally irrational.
They aren't working on TL3 next, they're burnt out on TL stuff and working on something new in the future supposedly. While TL2 mods have the potential to add a lot of new/interesting content and functionality, most of the ones up on steamworks (and the TL2 site) are 'cheat codes'... Double gold, longer buffs, better high end drop rates, etc... I don't run any of those because I know it would just kill the game for me, but I also remember how fun game genie mods were at times ; )
