Always did love that nice spring smell you get when stuff is just starting to grow, smells like...childhood. 50F is toasty? heh. We're in the low 80s here in Tx already. |

Jesus, it's not rocket science. It's called Moral Hazard. Christ, try getting an education and a set or morals sometime.
Since when does business have anything whatsoever to do with morals?
It should, but it doesn't because of greed. |

DangerDog wrote on Mar 29, 2013, 15:44: With no physx on consoles I wonder what the physics setup is for UE4? Are they sticking with physx at all on the PC?
Actually NVIDIA is providing PhysX on the PS4. Which is strange since the PS4 uses an AMD GPU. |

I doubt it will be used in any games for a while, but i wonder if it scales. If not, it cant be put into play for a few years.
This is not even using half of titan's power, so a 680 or even lower can do this with no problem. |

SXO wrote on Mar 21, 2013, 09:31: The sad part is that GK110 chip the TITAN uses was originally supposed to power the GTX 680, with the GK104 the 680 currently uses being meant for the midrange 660 cards. Unfortunately, due to a lack of competition, the extreme performance these chips produced, and nVidia's overt greed, they decided to use the GK104 as the high-end card, and saved the GK110 to the "refresh" cycle. Now that the refresh cycle is here, they instead opted to create a separate category for the GK110 and price it out of reach of most people with an obscene pricetag.
Uh, that's not right at all. That is completely 100% made up BS. You have no idea how NVIDIA's chip operations work. Greed is bad, but has nothing to do with how the chips are put out.
Unless you actually have internal knowledge of how things work (which you obviously don't), STFU. |

Pretty sure Obama doesn't write the software for this. |

Verno wrote on Mar 13, 2013, 10:04: That new Xenoblade game, a few cool JRPGs and get Donkey Kong Country out of licensing hell, thats one platformer begging for a modern overhaul. There was a Wii sequel called Donkey Kong Country Returns. Haven't played it myself but it got good reviews.
I have that and it's really good. I was always a huge fan of Donkey Kong Country for SNES (I still remember playing it for the first time at Toys R Us before it was released :)) and this "returns" version is just as good, if not better in some ways.
They're coming out with a 3DS version soon too. |

Nice.
Just as he says, Arma demonstrates what a proper PC game should be. It's good to see there's at least one dev left that hasn't sold out. |
