| Within a few hours of the broken grappling hook trigger being noticed, a working crack was out that fixed it. It doesn't take a member of MENSA to find it either. This is funny as hell, but it's also already irrelevant. |

| They already made Chaos League which was fantastic, and will be bargain bucket price by now. So no this isn't a Blood Bowl player's dream come true, they already did that with CL. This is just them being hired to make the real thing. |

| Sorry to post a non piracy related post (gasp), but does anyone know if Alex actually pauses and does the stupid dramatic pose while he shapeshifts that they show on their power demo videos on the website? If so then that alone makes it a no sale. 'Parkour-style fluidity' is great unless you then kick it in the nuts with dramatic slow shapeshift animations. |

Can anyone point me to where it actually says DNF has been canned?
Things I've read so far are:
1) 3DRealms has closed. This means not a lot. Broussard once said that he'd be too old to make a new game after DNF and it would be his last. So who's to say they didn't finish it, and that's why they're closing. 2) Funding is not coming from the publisher. I'm pretty sure it never was, it was from private investors, so again there's no news here. 3) Some developers have popped up saying they need a new job. Well you would if you finished your project and the company closed, so this still doesn't tell us DNF was canned. 4) Broussard also said a few months ago that when DNF was ready, we'd sure as hell notice the announcement. What bigger way to get a huge audience than this?
I'm still calling hype. Big bad viral uber hype. Look at everyone saying 'man that looked good too' at the leaked vids. |

| Well if Marvel like it and Fox the 'we make action movies but water them down to PG to make more money' company are uncomfortable then there may be hope. |

Maybe that mid-evil section of the CryEngine 3 trailer isn't just a slice of tech demo after all. Whatever happened to the word 'medieval'? |

That doesn't mean the rest of us didn't have login issues. They even posted on their news that there was an issue they were looking into.
The other issue they are talking about here is that you cannot log into the site in order to add a key any more. Go look for yourself and you'll see the login boxes are greyed out. This comment was edited on Sep 19, 12:47. |

I've just noticed V:TM-B is now to be released on Steam. I wonder if this will be taken into account at all by whoever picked it up or if Steam users will be stuck with the game in the state Troika left it.

If you look at the alt text for some of the links then it's for sure a viral marketing site.
One says the numbers are important, one says 'first is key' and then another has a list of numbers. Now WHERE you stick this number I have no idea, but no legit site would do that.

..meaning maybe it'll actually do something now? I don't think I know anyone who's ever had the error reporting tool successfully connect and send the data.

Why? |

Why is he asking Valve for permission for converting a mod he made in the first place?
This stinks of cheap ass marketing ploys to make people think he's intricately involved with Valve in some way.
I can just see the mail "Do you want me to make They Hunger for Source and will you help me?" and the reply of "Erm, it's your mod, go for it"
