The obvious question: what exactly is the point of dredging up an ancient IP, only to "totally reimagine" it? How about showing some innovation and coming up with something fresh. Even Ubi can pull this off (see Blood Dragon - which even itself is a bit of a dredged up derivative nostalgia trip).
Or even better... make an actual and at least mainly faithful sequel to the awesome original. I definitely Wanta some Wang. |

You can actually buy the Deluxe version as an upgrade from the regular game from Black Lion Trading with gems if you care. Gems can be converted to/from the in-game currency. |

Thanks for the heads up. I just picked up Dishonored for $22.50 USD using that coupon [Steam download key]. The GMG site is crawling right now though... was afraid for a moment that my order wouldn't even go through. Maybe it means that they're getting plenty of sales. |

| Connect a USB controller to your Android device... problem solved. Android (Tegra2+) GTA3 with the Sixaxis app and a PS3 controller, and the tablet connected to an HDTV screen via HDMI - try it out sometime. It looks and plays better than the original. |

This game seems to be worth a look, if only for its unique setting in a ruined Dubai and that its story is based on an abstracted version of Conrad's Heart of Darkness.
Also have to respect that they offered a demo, which I'm leeching now... |

I've played all three Stalker games with their respective Complete mods, and they are truly amazing. Artistpavel did an excellent job on them all, even Clear Sky. I wouldn't even consider playing vanilla without the Complete mods installed.

Anyway, very happy to see that development is continuing. Similar to what the previous comments said, these games are among the best I've played in the last decade.

Great reviews, though the PC interface issues are troubling. Then again, BT UI mod was one of the first mods released for Oblivion. Guess I should finally start pre-loading it. 9 hours left until release (?)
On a vaguely related note, Beth's Rage is on sale for 33% off on Steam. That was kind of quick. |
