I've owned and played every Battlefield PC game except BF3 since it's not on Steam, and every Call of Duty PC game. (The first Medal of Honor too!) The one thing they all have in common for me is I have never touched the single-player in any of them.

I'm glad they put it in there for the people that want it, but it does nothing for me. I'd much rather go up against real people then a lame scripted AI anytime. I think AI has a long way to go for shooters, that or they don't put enough effort into it.

I will say though, the bots in the original Unreal Tournament were not too bad. It was actually enjoyable firing up a bot match on UT.

I think EQ peaked with the Velious expansion. I might be a little partial though since my guild was the first to clear Sleeper's tomb on our server. Ahh, I miss the drama.

Indeed good sir, indeed, it's very unfortunate.
All the "Quest" series and few other titles like "Leisure Suit Larry", "Monkey Island", "Day of the Tentacle" even going back as far as "DIG" and "Future Wars", all these games made you think, now not so much anymore. Kids get to be spoon fed everything now days.

Riiiight, I want what they are smoking, hell it isnt even the best game of 1993... Xwing, Doom, Syndicate, Simcity 2000, Master of Orion, Privateer... and I personally hated it but the best selling game ever Myst was also released in 93.

While I agree that the layers of DRM are excessive (GFWL is retarded in and of itself), buying it on consoles isn't really the answer. That will just convince WB to make the next game a console-exclusive. Despite the DRM, Arkham City PC is a solid port of a great game that still looks and plays best on PC. $25 is a low enough price to tolerate the DRM.

If you can't tolerate the DRM regardless of price, boycott the game on all platforms and send WB a hand-written letter explaining your grievances.
