If you go to try and login now, in the new version, consider yourself lucky if you don't have to jump through a bunch of hoops. Oh joy. |

Maybe its just me, but I didn't have any problems (at least that I can recall, its been a while) logging into gamestop with my impulse login.
Of course, that doesn't mean I'll be buying anything from gamestop (unless they have incredible steamlike sales, and that doesn't look like it will ever happen).
Also, I will also rebuy as much as possible on steam if they are on sale for a good price. I'm glad to see stardock is seeing the light of day and starting to put up their old titles on there. |

They also keep trying to close my support ticket without resolving it.
Or does valve have twitter or something?
I know gabe's email is public, I wonder what would happen if I emailed that. |

I would fund it if the $15 hadn't sold out... oh well, I'll just buy it @ release. I've noticed sometimes in lower priced limited qty tiers a spot opens up in the last few hours, because people upgrade pledges. |

This is one game I'm going to wait until its out and read the reviews first before I get it. I think this mostly got funded because people read "populus" Only time will tell if funding it was a good thing or not. |

LOL, just for fun I was checking origin yesterday. The only simcity that they show on the front page is an $80 digital deluxe version.
Rhino wrote on Dec 22, 2012, 12:09: Leaderboards are fine for some games; but given that each player will have their own priorities or objectives then there is no consistent method of measurement for any leaderboard. That guy over there has a population that's several hundred times my own? Fine, assuming that I'm even trying to make a high population city. Plus, nearly EVERY SINGLE GAME I've seen with leaderboards has had hackers all at the top with impossible to beat scores. The very few that don't usually have to police them manually to remove hackers. I doubt they built the game from ground up to be hacker proof. And I doubt they will have someone whose entire job for the next 5 years is is to find cheaters and ban them and remove the scores from leaderboards.
Except maybe snuggle trucks. I checked the leaderboards on that once or twice and they looked legit. |

But, I've seen in a couple past games where maxing everything screwed stuff up (dunno if it was from drivers or just they didn't expect anyone to be able to max everything). So my suggestion would be to turn everything down a notch, or choose medium settings, as a first step to seeing what might be wrong. |

Sims still takes $155 to get all the DLC even on sale. If they ever offer a PACKAGE DEAL where I can get the whole thing for a reasonable price, I'd probably get it.
I picked up the darksiders set from amazon (redeemed on steam), both so I could get codes for the stuff I didn't use (already had DS1, and it oddly gave you an uneeded code for one of the DLC), and because it was cheaper.
jimnms wrote on Dec 21, 2012, 23:24: http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-BETHESDANYC/bethesda-new-year-collection-bundle Interestingly thats NOT the same beth bundle as whats on steam for $90: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/18743/
While they both include a lot of the same games, the steam one includes id stuff like quake and doom, while the gamersgate one includes things like rogue warrior and hunted something or other (which is doubly odd considering that gamersgate says they are steamworks). |

Going to repost what I did in the previous thread:
Not going to get them all at $60+. Now if they had a 75% off on the PACK as well, I'd probably pick it up. Plus I already own the best of them in steam, most of the splinter cell ones.
Since I was bored:
Tom Clancy's EndWar Metascore 68
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Metascore 80
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Metascore 76
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Metascore 80 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Desert Siege (expansion) Metascore 82 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Island Thunder (expansion) Metascore 82
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Metascore 71
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. Metascore 70
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 Metascore 66
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Lockdown Metascore 59
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 Gold Metascore 85
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Metascore 85
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Metascore 78
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Metascore 92
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction Metascore 83
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent Metascore 80
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Metascore 91

My advice: Do NOT buy the tom clancy's bundle today:
$64.81 Price of individual games: $67.99 Bundle cost:
Turns out the bundle costs MORE then getting ALL the individual games. So buy the ones you want instead.
So with that said, anyone know what the best games in the series were? $2.50 per game on most of them right now.

Doesn't GoG have the original PoP 1 & 2?
Also, I heard about the thing with xbox, how was it remade? |

you will have all extra revenue, guaranteed. Perhaps rejeuvinate some old developers, as they suddenly get some royalty money again.
bah humbug to EA The developers wouldn't get a dime off those old games. Only the publishers would ever see any money out of that, and apart from a rare few games, most of those publishers have all long since gone the way of the dodo.
Creston It would depend on specific games. Some old games had contracts where the rights reverted to the developer after periods of time.
But in the main, you'd be right. |

So, I got some achievements in snuggle truck. One for flipping the truck, another for being an atrocious driver.
Also, I made a short level for it. Which gave me another 2 achieves. Good luck on completing it if you dare to try it.
