There's some people you just don't like their face you know?

Dark brimmed glasses. Check. Tufts of barely pubescent facial hair. Check. Milky neck. Check. Yeah he's a douchebag.

March release makes sense since they don't have to do much graphically to create this for current gen consoles.

Where the fuck is RDR for PC....

Seriously give up on that. RDR was mostly riding around grinding pelts out of wild animals. It was good but certainly not the greatest thing for PC gamers to miss out on. I still don't quite get the hype surrounding it. I made it half way before getting bored.

That this got funded is truly a sign of just how spineless gamers are.

Explain.

He's a guy who spews nonsense at gamers that's actually aimed at his publishers and shareholders. He can fund this himself if he really wants to produce it. A lot of gamers talk about how he's a hype machine but I bet they all gave to this project. Spineless.

It's too easy for Americans to get guns. Not that I think making it harder would have prevented this.

Ultimately firearms make murders easy for people who aren't physically imposing or don't have the guts to really get their hands dirty. It's a device with a switch that makes killing possible with little effort.

I don't think firearms are directly the issue. There honestly isn't much direct action one can take to prevent this. Beyond perhaps individual responsibility and noticing when someone has mental health issues. Even that is hard since if you're thinking of killing off a room of school children you're likely withdrawn and not interacting socially enough to be noticed. There really isn't an easy answer to this.

Gamers who can remember Quake, Mechwarrior and Heavy Gear expect more

The rest of the kids, I'm not so sure. But yeah, I won't stick with it very long just for deathmatch.

Anyone approaching this as a Mechwarrior style game will be disappointed. It's much closer to the Heavy Gear franchise. The mechs move faster and die faster.

It's a twitch game, ala Quake.

Personally I've enjoyed it a bit, not sure for how long I'll keep playing. I do think the mechs could do with 30% "health" boost as fire fights don't last long enough.

Bored of WW2. Wish someone would create a highend 1950s to 1970s era flightsim. Rickety, dangerous fighter planes.

It's probably not "high-end", but the Strike Fighters 2 series is pretty good, and it covers from the 50s to the late 80s. Check it out, if you haven't yet.

Yup know it well

Mig Alley from the late 90s remains my favourite flight sim. Only because of the 1950s jets Korean War setting. Love that the wings would creak while pulling a high G turn and if you held it too long..they'd tear off.

Rise of Flight is an incredibly polished PC title. It should get more attention.

I play COH fairly often. Maybe I'm imagining it but do the graphics look nearly identical to the first? I don't spend much time zoomed in as close as this video, so maybe I'm wrong.

I know graphics isn't everything but really this looks like an Eastern Front expansion for COH1. Which isn't that bad of thing, it just doesn't appear to be as groundbreaking as the first. COH1 blew people away at the time. Graphics and physics unheard of in an RTS. This doesn't appear to be receiving near as much attention. Hopefully the gameplay additions can compensate.
