Well at least you can recall other's posts.

I can't recall any of yours except this vague feeling of annoyance and disgust.

A hit of turd whiff.

I still have reservations that CryEngine is up to the task of providing the proper foundation for a vast space combat game.
And the tools aren't that friendly. Which might not be matter if you're producing a game with a very large team but for a kickstarter..

Although I guess with 20 million these guys should have a large enough team..maybe.

If Valve were Ubisoft we'd have Half-life 8: Freeman Splinter Creed by now.

The governments of the world are going to take down Bitcoins hard. They have no interest in a currency they don't control.
They likely don't care they're too busy trying to manage their own collapsing currencies and being incompetent while their citizens spend their sad lives inventing conspiracy theories to exempt themselves from taking control of their own lives.

April 2015 release date?!? Damn it looks sexy, but no.
You mean they gave an honest deadline and you're unhappy but you'd back it if the date was unrealistic then whine about how the beta is crap or something?

Ugh, it's some cutsey little 16 bit arcade game. Nevermind.

Ugh, it's some snarky little Internet troll that hasn't even taken the time to understand someone's work.

Go download the prototype from here:

...before passing judgement.

If assholes like you like their work that tells us everything we need to know. You can go back to 4 chan now, troll.
Why don't you go back to the RPGCodex and get back to be the ignored little wannabe snark bitch you were there. Just cause you found a site where your snark is cool, doesn't mean anyone here wants to hear it.

I just finished watching seasons 1 - 5 of Breaking bad the past 2 weeks. I am about as prepped as I can be for the finale.

Half way through season 2 ... I'm going to have to disconnect my internets and switch off my telephone.

Yeah for me it was a case of revision as I've been watching since the series started. It makes for a helluva 60 hour movie though.

Having said that, I really need to get Prison Architect...as well as the time to play it!!!

I really dig PA, every update (which is about 1 a month) really adds quite a bit to the game. Its already pretty great, i've already got my money's worth from it i feel.
Same here, although they really need to fix the tunneling in the next update. I've given up after nearly every prisoner digs a tunnel every single night. Of course I realise this is an alpha and I'm happy to wait till the next version. It really is developing into an excellent game.

The hardware business is a tough one. Valve are not Microsoft or Sony. If they try to mass produce this thing I see them going bankrupt.

BTW how god aweful is the voice over work and the 'enemy... spotted... south...' from the previous games?
That is much improved upon surprisingly. It sounds quite good actually.

Besides the weirdo future units, the stupid greek setting, the missing campaign (which would/will be retarded anyhow) - the game is an improvement in nearly every sense that matters. Controls, sound, graphics etc.

Yeah these guys went the opposite direction as far as early access. Pay a lot, rather than pay a fraction. I'm guessing it'll be priced lower at release.

It does look nice, but I'm happy to wait for the final price

edit: yeah $40 according to this page https://store.uberent.com/Store/PreOrder?titleId=4

bah...

what me worry? this guy made: wing commander, starlancer, & freelancer! consider these r&d for SC... freelancer hints at much more depth that was incomplete due to publisher intervention, which is gone with SC. hopefully Roberts will not become a George Lucas.

they are using cryengine3, as he pointed our in the last video they have crysis 3 functionality right out of the box. i believe the last video he alluded to the art assets being the largest amount of work facing them prior to the ks.

so i imagine most the design is done (what was left out of freelancer along with what has been dreamed up in the last 10 years), the engine is done and is a proven platform for FPS with vehicles.

cant wait!

Now get out there boy and buy another $5000 ship!
