Plenty knew it existed actually - those who love RPG's and watch out for the indie type games at least. Not exactly a biggie on Bluesnews.

Combat looks pretty lame IMO. Your character holds a shield and there is no blocking?

You can play the Anti-Christ in multiplayer, so I've read.

Please don't compare this thing with Gothic. Two Worlds is pretty lame:

"The real time half-automatic combat in Two Worlds is very dynamic. Lavish visuals and stunning choreography make for exciting and memorable scenes and attract action-hungry players."

Its basically Oblivion on rails with a penchant for kicking people.

I got bored pretty quickly - and the dual dagger weilding obstructs my view which annoyed me. Frankly it made me want to play Oblivion since the crypts in that game have better designs.

"Its the thing as Oblivion, how many games like this do we need?"

So we need another military shooter instead?

Hurry Starforce! There are only 38 days left!

We're off in outer space
Protecting Mother Earth
To save the human race
Our Star Blazers

Danger lurking everywhere
But we know we've got to dare
Evil men with evil schemes
They can't destroy all our dreams

We must be strong and brave
Our home we've got to save
We must make the fighting cease
So Mother Earth will be at peace

Through all the fire and the smoke
We will never give up hope
If we can win the Earth will survive
We'll keep peace alive
With our Star Blazers

WOW! I've never seen 34 comments here without a single troll or flame. Not even an "I hate Atari". This is Bluesnews right?

Impressive!

I played the demo - thought it was pretty good. Why all the hate? I will say it ran choppy for the visuals - which were about on par with FEAR (x850XT).

The MMO pricing model works fine for someone obsessed with a particular title. This pricing model is aimed at a larger audience - smaller "one shot" fees. They just hope you can't add. This really is a disaster in the making.

"The customer is always right" should be "Luckily the customer is fucking retarded".

This is a pricing model that should be boycotted. Its a slippery slope to say the least. This model just encourages overpaying for product. Its nickel and dime stuff that add up to huge monthly fees. Gates has been advocating this concept for years. Anyone who buys this thing is helping validate the theory.

I can't believe there are retards who are validating this episode bullshit. $180 for a PC game? This shit is gonna spread like cancer. Christ some people are too stupid to own a credit card.

I'm playing this right now - very impressive graphically compared to Sacred and Dungeon Siege 2 and quite a bit better thought out. Fun pure and simple. I'd like to see the camera more dynamic ala NWN/Dungeon Siege but I'll buy it anyway.

nin, I was referring to Zathus not you.

And of course I will still keep my ex-high end PC so I can do that stuff too. I will be buying a seperate HDDVD player since I have a dedicated HT - my PC is upstairs. At this point I'm thinking of running the 360 off my 19" monitor and getting a cheap 5.1 system, so the PC and the 360 will be in one area. I can take the 360 downstairs to my projector when I want HD gaming. Very hard to do with my PC obviously.

You are wrong about the xBox360 GPU. Don't confuse clock speeds with architecture. And stop being an insulting prick. In real life you'd get pummelled.

That will bug me to no end. How "fixed" is the camera? At least there is NWN2 still coming.

Devs, if you read this - speak up!

Honestly I don't get your point. Since you are playing it with a 6800, you know that your FPS can drop to 18-25 fps if you fight outdoors with 2-3 enemies, nothing else going on. No HDR and at medium settings. An xBox360 will do the same scene at 35 FPS with HDR and higher res for a package price of $450.

When FEAR 360 comes out it will render better than your machine could the original game. You will not be able to play Crysis with decent FPS without an upgrade. The xBox360 will do Lost Planet and Gears of War with no upgrade. Meanwhile, you'll be getting ready for DX10 and Vista, possibly a new CPU, MB and DDR2. Its a neverending cycle of upgrades just to keep the mouse and keyboard. The next console "upgrade" will again only be the cost of a vid card.

All I'm saying is that given the 360 lineup looking this good its getting hard to justify holding out for a keyboard + Mouse for all the extra cost.

There is a difference between 10 FPS when we are talking about low FPS in combat. Have you played Oblivion? What card are you running? I'm using an x850XT right now and it is stressed.

EDIT:
I'm sure you are right about the upgrade license. My last upgrade was 95->XP so there was no upgrade license. So now its $1400. You still have to recognize that a console system is the cost of a good video card upgrade at less frequency. Even at $1000 the PC upgrade should be questioned given the E3 xBox360 lineup - which really was my original point.

When you go and buy a car, do you buy every single option they try to sell you on?

I drive an M3 so yup!

Listen, you might be happy with an x1800xt - but in Oblivion that means 2/3 the FPS of an x1900xtx at an Oblivion gate. Thats where it counts - not when both cards are getting over 40FPS. When the x1800XT is at ~20 FPS and the x1900xtx is at ~30 FPS in combat the card pays for itself.
