This could be good.

I have yet to find a Korean MMO that is actually good. They consist of grinding for 20 hours just to make it to level 2.

It looks extremely similar to World of Warcraft. It isn't a bad thing, I like the accentuated style of Warcraft. This may be an interesting world to explore, at least for a little while.

Actually, I second PHJF's question. Have they released a class list? Or have they just made it clear that the necromancer isn't in the game?

The small add-on packs just keep it fresh. TF2 was great from the beginning, the only complaint being the small number of maps.

I get the impression that they are not sure what to do with the heavy, therefor opening up to get ideas from the community (without saying as much).

I also have to say "World of Starcraft". The videos from Starcraft II give a distinct impression that they are developing the world for this very purpose. It will be the launching pad, just like Warcraft III was for World of Warcraft.

5. Majesty 2 Jun 21, 2008, 19:08 Sacrifice

Majesty was a great game, looking forward to the updated sequel.

This also reminds me that someone needs to make Dungeon Keeper 3! Majesty has some elements that would work great for it.

2. Re: No subject Jun 19, 2008, 13:51 Sacrifice

I agree with you Dagok. While I enjoyed it for a time, there was just too much micromanagement. I especially enjoyed playing the multiplayer component with friends, but someone would almost always have a poor start or get defeated early. This wasn't overly fun since a game can take up to 3 hours. I would like to see a similar game with less micromanagement in which a multiplayer game can be played in about an hour.

The name is bad and the MMO tag misleading, never-the-less it could be fun. It looks like a cross between Diablo, Dungeon Keeper, and Spy vs Spy.

I use to play Pipe Dreams on my first computer, it was a fun little game to fill in a bit of time. I wonder if this remake has anything to do with the success of Bioshock. The hacking mini-game is very similar.

13. Re: What they ought to do.... Nov 5, 2007, 22:54 Sacrifice

I would also like to see a remake of the original story using modern graphics and updated UI. It was the most interesting story of all the games.

And for the record, the graphics for Homeworld were beautiful for their time.

You are lying! You can only freeze, rewind, or slow down time for a few seconds!

Does the original or this version offer cooperative multiplayer? Co-op games are such a rare breed, I am always on the lookout a decent game to play with a friend.

I finally got time to play the demo yesterday evening. However, there was nobody left online to play with. The demo limited you to 4 hours of online gameplay. I assume most people had already used up their game time since the demo had been released a few days back.

I was considering buying the game, but now I am not so sure since I never had a chance to truly play the game. I have some reservations on how well the game will play in multi-player.

I played through the game once with some friends. It was a fun multiplayer game, but it quickly becomes repetitive. I wouldn't mind a sequel with a bit more variation.

I've been wanting to play this game since it came out, yet for some reason I never got around to it. Probably a good thing, now I can play a complete game.

The game was unique and interesting. It had potential, it is unfortunate they were forced to release the game way too early. It was horribly unstable and incomplete. It didn't have much of a tutorial or starting area to ease users into the game.
