Bleh... more DLC missions for a game that I beat and is close ended. While I like most Bioware games - I rarely play through them multiple times and popping back in for some DLC that is pointless just doesn't seem worth it. ME3 is over for me - been there, done that, not sure I want to revisit one of Shepard's weekends at a casino or gather a new character I'm not going to use.

| One thing I've noticed - most of the people I know that like FOX news are pretty nice and decent people. Most of the people I've met that hate it are pretty intolerable, elitist and usually rude. (Notice how they always have to throw an insult into their opinion.) Looks like some of the posts here fit the mold. |

Ugh, this is craptastic at it's best. It's the damn Hollywood syndrome. Let's take something that has a cult following then change things to fit the director's skewed vision! Ignore the source material, hell don't even consult the creators, just grab the license and make up stuff as you go!
And who are they kidding? Do they think you can take a mediocre shooter, slap the Shadowrun name on it and compete with the likes of Unreal Tournament or other respected names in FPS? Sorry, but you better have something impressive or even the best license won't save you.

The grind is even worse (more boring) than L2. Especially post 30. Horrible environment graphics, (the character art is decent- that's why it's always the feature of screenshots, not the environment) less character customization than L2, mindless combat with only one or two powers for 30 levels = fun for Koreans, but crap for the rest of the world. PvP is interesting the first few chip wars but not enough substance to make you want to do it over and over. Imagine being stuck in Thidranki or Warsong Gulch forever fighting over the same ground and nothing changes.
Drilling holes in a rock is about as entertaining really. Definately an avoid at all costs for RPers or players looking for deep gameplay, immersion or a challenge.
If you must have a SCI-FI mmo... try Anarchy Online or EvE, they far surpass the overall quality of RF.

I love it too, I just wish it had more to do with 40k and less to do with being a plain vanilla RTS crapfest. Relic, your people can READ can't they? Maybe you should have spent some time studying the codexes and reading the many offerings from the Black Library before you bastardized 40k. It's sad that a license with so much potential is watered down into base building-base rushing crap made for ADD babies.
My god, you can't even implement Eldar correctly and you left out several Aspects... ugh.

Just say no to dumbed down gaming |

Industry ignoring casual gamers? Thats bull. I'm just about done with the watered down crap gaming companies are putting out because they want the "casual" player to be interested too. Let's not even go into the MMORPG market now aimed at the casual gamer and dumbed down to the point any fucktard can play - and they do - in droves. I'm sorry but the casual gamer is usually not a desired element in multiplayer games where they can't hold up their position in a team, leave them to tetris or bejeweled and if they want to play with the big boys, they might have to invest a few brain cells to do it. But forcing the loyal gamers, those that expect a challenge of their skill - to deal with these dimwits and shallow gaming is only a sure way to frustrate and bore us to death. Next they will want the PC to change to a one button mouse because two and the little wheel are confusing to the "casual gamer."

Makes me wish these fekkers would just lie low and not annouce the game or development until it's 98% done. All the hype they build up over months or years just comes crashing down after they churn out a POS like SWG or just call it quits and drop the project. To think I actually read some of their newsletters... that's time I won't get back.
