I'm there with ya, I'll be grabbing this. It's funny you mention the sixaxis control because I didn't even think about using it/realize it was there. I'll have to try it out; either way I played the shit outta the demo.

The part I played of the demo, you're in this dark cave, and there's no gamma or brightness adjust. I got the demo from GS in early December and I only played part of the cave ... to realize this game is going to suck. I couldn't bring myself to spend any more than 10 minutes with it ... 10 minutes I'll never get back.

MGS4 is Quarter 2, Killzone I think isn't suppose to come out until September (i.e. November).
The next "biggie" will be GTA IV, hopefully in the March time-frame (though I have a feeling we'll see it launch in October).

If you've got the game, a PC and a monitor, why the hell would you go through the extra hassle? My thoughts exactly; at first I was excited to think of running PC games on my PS3 (my PC started showing it's age this time last year) then I found you're only streaming the output.
I would love to play my PC games on my PS3, there's a hell of alot more horsepower in that thing than there is in my PC.

Looks like Sony is starting to tout the PSP as more of a media extender than just a gaming machine; personally I don't see it as a bad thing. I just wish there were some decent games coming out for it.

I got the PS3 version and as much as I absolutely loved 2004, I really can't get into it. Maybe it's the lack of community (there were something like only 10 CTF servers when I looked) or the fact that COD4 raised the bar, IMO, for online console shooters; either way I'm considering trading it in already.

Doesn't XBL have a 50 MB limit, and if so, how will these guys manage to show such excellent graphics with such limit disk space? Not anymore, it was increased to 150MB some time ago so they have space to work with.

Pretty good video analysis of the second GTA IV trailer; I'm sure those from New York or that area can pick up on quite a bit. Me, I'm from Iowa so it's all just a bunch of buildings in my eyes.
Some things they overlooked were the real-time spidering on the windshield as well as the real-time bullet spray on the side of the car.
On another note, that videosift site is atrocious. It looks like something put together by someone taking an HTML 101 class.

I loved my Dreamcast... Amen to that, I just wish it had a longer life to see some really kick ass games to come for it. I may have to see if I can find one for cheap and relive some of those moments.
BTW, I wish they did more with the VMU, that thing was way ahead of it's time.

This guy is fucking stupid for having only ONE income stream and then tries to take on the industry and loses that income stream. If he had more than one income stream we could look past this but no. How did he try to "take on the industry"? Jeff has given reviews in the past that have upset people so this isn't the first time and I don't see how this is taking on the industry. Secondly, I'm sure there are more than a handfull of sites/publications that would be willing to pick him up ... he's not an intern, he was the senior editor for GameSpot for Christ's sake.

I found it odd that on the latest "Hotspot" podcast that Jeff wasn't present and there was litterally no mention of his name ... if this holds true then Gamespot might as well kiss it's fanbase goodbye.

OMG, that was like watching a news cast put on by the local community college. Also, is this guy a fucking idiot? What other games have sold 500K in the first week (aside from Halo obviously)? I'm sure there's thousands of companies that would LOVE to sell 500K in the game's lifetime let alone in the first week.
That chick doing the interview should really find a new line of work, or at least something behind the camera where she doesn't need to talk.
