I think I'm done with this game's MP. After constantly getting either nuked or my ass handed to me, I just played a game where guys on my team were persistently dropping airdrops at a rate of about one every 5 - 10 seconds. New exploit I guess, but non-the-less ... what ever happened to people playing a game just to play a game and not try to exploit it.
Yet another reason I may not be renewing my XBL subscription. |

I'm still trying to figure out what all the stuff "You've never seen before!" is in Avatar. So far it seems about as cliche as it can be.
Evil high tech corporation? Check.
Low tech indiginous people? Check.
Corporation wants to take over indiginous people's land? Check.
Indiginous people fight back? Check.
Indiginous people win battle against superior forces and firepower, despite there really being no reason to? Check.
Guy from the evil corp realizes they're evil and joins the good guys? Check.
Big battle in a forest? Check.
IT'S SO ORIGINAL! :o
Holy shit, did Lucas assist in the directing because that plot line smells a lot like Episode 1. |

As a current owner of a PSP1000, I would have picked up a go had they been able to convert my existing library to digital and if the cost was below $200. I don't think I'm alone in that thought, why would I want to rebuy SOCOM FTB2 when I have the disk sitting right here? And why would I want to spend an extra $80 to no play the games I currently have?
I know they're going after new customers and those that think it's the "funnest iPod ever", but if I just dropped $300 on my fun iPod, I sure as hell won't drop $250 on another portable entertainment device.
I just think that Sony is giving the finger to their current PSP user base ... you know, those that have ALREADY invested in their products and are typically into new tech. Morons ... |

| I thought that the BF:BC MP was a decent effort to bring the BF experience to consoles. It wasn't nearly as deep as BF for the PC, but it new its limitations and worked around them. This has made its way towards the top of my list of console wants; I think it will be a different experience that what MW2 brings so the two can live in harmony next to each other. |

I don't see how anyone can watch movies on the PSP. The screen is so small it'd induce a headache or blurry vision. I've watched The Dark Night and 1/2 of 24 season 3 on my iPod Touch at the gym and can't see that it would be any smaller than that. Yeah it's not the optimal viewing experience but it's better than watching Oprah or some other dumb shit they have on their TVs. |

| I still don't get the draw for Halo. I played the first one half way through (until they just cut/pasted the levels together) and played the 2nd one for about an hour before realizing there were TONS of better FPSs available. I can't see how some people see it as the second coming of Christ; the story is just OK, the enemies are a joke, and the environments are bleh. Maybe I'm just not hip to pop-culture or maybe I just like good games .... |

Studio Liverpool is Psygnosis, Sony bought them like 8 years ago. Thanks Verno, now I have someone to write and ask for a sequel to G-Police -- I LOVED that game!! |

Glad to see the game is being supported post release; granted this DLC is rather scant, but I was glad when I reread it that it was free DLC because I can't see that anyone would pay for such little content.
For me, I'm down with the Nocturnal Hunter bit ... |

LOL, like this gameplay change: Various changes made to prevent cheating. Sounds like the equivalent of "and other ingredients" on food boxes. Regardless, if they've fixed the 15 jeeps falling from the sky then I'm in.
I installed BF2 and 1.41 in preparation to get my ass handed to me; anyone know of a good server that a previously decent player turned old can play on? |

| I'm pretty sure they said at GamesCom that there was, in fact, 2 player local co-op that was designed to take advantage of 16x9 widescreen (not sure if that means 2 8x9 boxes). I want to say I heard that on the latest "Listen Up" podcast. |

| Very cool, time to get BF2 installed. I have to say, I dig BF2 much more than 2142; the latter just seemed to be missing something in the gameplay. Regardless, this is one of the few games my aging PC will actually play now. |
