The standard a long time ago was what is now inverted, so newer gamers prefer the non-"flight control" style. I used to be an inverted FPS player. But after a few years I realized that I had to switch and unlearn that because it's a bad habit to get into I realized. I don't use inverted mouse on the desktop, why should I use it for fps?
It was HELL trying to unlearn the inverted mouse controls it took a while but I did it. It's the gaming of equivalent of kicking a bad habit like smoking. Well okay, I might be overstating it a bit. this old argument again, inverted is natural, you move your head BACK to look up and your head FORWARD to look down. |

Best game I ever played.
I wish there where some ATI performance tweaks, I just switched from a SLI set up to 6950 crossfire setup (still need to apply the 6970 bios), and the game runs not as well as I had hoped Most likely its a ATI driver problem, but what isn't
Changing the mouse to inverted was a chore. |

ESL (http://www.nationalesl.com/us/), TGL (http://league.totalgamingnetwork.com/), CSN (http://cyber-sports.net/), TWL (http://teamwarfare.com), IGL (http://www.playigl.com), CEVO (http://www.cevo.com/). Also its perceived this game will be at Quakecon,
As far as unlocks go, I'm sure there will be a server config very soon that removes unlocks, and quite honestly its not hard to unlock all the needed tools and Splash Damage is very welcoming to helping leagues. It's obvious there is things that need to be added (record function again) and things that need to be removed (engies turrets and landmines, the random factor needs to be removed) to make league friendly, but SD is well aware of these things and we should see some changes/configs very soon.

Prime time and only about 50 out of 1000 servers showing have more than 10 players in them.
It sucks to admit it but Brink STINKS, buzz from esports community - don't make me laugh.
Current number of players, Bad Company 2 has more people playing.
http://store.steampowered.com/stats/
Brink currently has more players and 1/3rd more at peak for the day. And Brink numbers started at just over 10K on Tuesday and now they are up over 15K and climbing. Don't say someone is full of shit when YOUR link proves YOU wrong!
5,201 15,761 BRINK 5,191 10,097 Battlefield: Bad Company 2
hmmm and every league has plans for Brink |

If your talking about reviews, keep in mind they are all based off the xbox version and their panties are in a knot because it doesn't play like COD and their is no single player. |

Game seems to crash much more with today's patch. I seem to lose sounds on more maps now
And ATI performance still leaves a lot to be desired |

| Brink is awesome, its the new esports game without a doubt. If you like the Splash Damage games you'll love Brink, but COD KDR whores need not apply as you'll hate it. The socreboard shows just that, a score not KDR's or even kills, just your score. |

like competitive community will even use the escort modes.
and Brink's speed seems to be a lot faster then CS, which is still the biggest competitive game. |

I'm one of the stupid few to have just bought DA:O Ulimate (with the intention of playing the game again with all the DLC's) on Friday, with the entire weekend to play and "enjoy" the game. Well its now Tuesday night and I still can't play the game or any of the DLC's.
The real pisser is EA/Bioware/Steam is still selling the game, you'd think any responsible company would pull the sale of the game until it's in a playable state. Before people comment that EA, Steam, ect sell buggy games and buyer beware, ect. this is totally different, this issues affects EVERYONE trying to play the game, where usually "buggy" games affect only a small minority.

I found it to be a lot more casual, fine some of the more advanced combos ect are all about perfect timing, but its even easier to pick up now. SF games have never been about execution, its all about how you read your opponent.
PS the timing on this couldn't be better, just finishing up my SF4/Mame cabinet! |

this is the shit that is killing gaming, the industries drive to be constantly expanding, trying to tap new markets and "non traditional" gamers.
gaming was so much better in the 90's/early 2000's, devs knew their market and didn't try to reach a new audience with each release. they made games for their fans plain and simple, not joe fratboy and grandma.

| Why is everyone so caught up on games length? I'm way more concerned about the quality of the experience then how long it takes to rush through the damn thing. Nothing worse then filler levels/quests. |
