It's easy to join in a party, no matter if others are in offerflow or not. If your in different overflow instances or not, join group and right click on portrait and select 'join in'. You'll automatically be switched to the right 'server'.

Except it doesn't work and hasn't since 2am. Hence my frustration.

Loving it so far. Everything everyone said upthread +50.

However, the thing that is seriously pissing me off is that my family plays together and trying to join each other, even in the overflow queues, is fucking impossible. We've been playing since 8am and only ONCE have the four of us landed in the same place. Clicking "Join In" doesn't seem to do shit.

The only problem is, some people can't install that stuff on work machines. Even though they let you browse stuff at work.

If that is the case, then quite honestly, you need to do your personal browsing at home.

And by the way, can Huffington post get a NSFW tag please, or even better, never be linked to at all? Their stupid ass flash player starts without user intervention and can NOT be paused nor stopped... which is pretty hilarious given that a flash video player only needs to do 2 things.. play stuff when I ask it to play stuff, and not play stuff when I ask it not to play stuff.

If only there were extensions that prevented that from happening...

We moved to forefront, and while it doesn't catch everything (and let's be honest, what does) it at least doesn't try and tie up huge amounts of proc time, like the previous.

I keep pushing to move to Forefront as it has worked out well on the development servers but some jackass tied us to a three year deal with Eset.

My employer is glacially getting a clue. First they started off with Symantec Endpoint (total and absolute garbage), then they moved to McAfee (She's a BRICK...house) and now we're on NOD32 which, while still craptastic, is better than the previous two.

I snagged a couple of servers from a business liquidation for less than 10% of their retail value and they were less than a year old.

So, if you're in the area...you could score some cool deals on equipment.

To which I have to ask at what point (I'm guessing when you're playing pee-swords with another 40 yr old man) do you ask yourself, why? Why do we need to focus on being less intelligent?

Bah, I don't even really care; but Pitchford is clearly a backwater jackboot focusing on degradation of the mind as he does.

You were 747ed.

The opinion you express here is the REAL issue. Nobody cares anymore.
You do realize this is a video game website right?

That's unpossible! Because, like, earlier in the thread, this game is a clear and strident warning about the downfall of man or whatever. It's, like, important!

Oh lets not forget sex, sex, sex..

None of this can lead to anything good for the human race.

You're right, after a fashion. The not forgetting about "...sex, sex, sex..." led to your conception. Nothing good came from that greasy tryst.

I'm guessing I missed the meme that AS is posting. Can someone explain it to me?

Or is it simply a matter of yet another example of Christian shitdickedness in an extremely long line of Christian douchebaggery?

Well, certain nautical versions of it won't include Origin.

After watching the trailer, the character models strongly reminded me of the ones in V:TM - Bloodlines. They're angular and the faces don't look quite right.

You can be smart, confident, and successful without being a dick. Being rich and famous is no excuse to be that sort of asshole.

Seems to go with the territory. There are still Macspackers who love the taste of Jobsian cock and he was the exact same way.

While the comments highlighted are less than tactful, they certainly have a point.

Especially the one about OpenSUSE. Requiring root password for basic user duties is fucking asinine.

The load time is atrocious, but maybe that is something on my end, although all my buddies seem to have the same issue. It was a fun game until these issues.
I think the load times are ArmA2 issues not the mod. I believe load times will be much improved if you have the game on an SSD.

Why stop there? Why not go balls out and load it from a RAID 0 array of SSDs?

So, outside of the staged events, how would this be any different than kicking their ass during the course of a normal season?
