"It has to be by creating or finding products that will make the difference and will be recognised as the best products in the industry Like your award winning, craptastic DRM?
It's pretty easy to go to number three when the only people you are really competing against is EA and Activision due to industry attrition. |

I did not say it did. However, this line from their programming documentation; "UDK relies solely on the use of UnrealScript while licensees can use UnrealScript in conjunction with native C++ code" got me to thinking.
So I decided to become at least competent in both for a project that I want to create. |

| It was this video, and the demo video, that got me interested in the UDK. Ultimately, it also led me to begin learning C# so I could take better advantage of the kit. |

If that's what you want, I suggest picking up a Simbin racing title on the PC or even Race On if you happen to own a 360.
Their titles have accurate driving models and the correctly applied physics. |

I look forward to their announcement.
I have been itching for a good space sim that hits me in the right place. Evochron didn't quite do it for me.
I would ideally like a game that gave me the freedom of X but a larger, less segmented universe. I would also like more of a captain's role instead having to be the master of every system on the ship. |

| I am waiting patiently for Godzilla to emerge from the sea and Mothra to come swooping down from the mountains to do epic battle in Tokyo. |
