Already posted in the Bioshock demo thread up there, but.. I can't play the demo (or the game for that matter, if/when I get it) because my card doesn't support SM3.0. 
I found an XFX 8600-based PCI-Express card for $139 on newegg... might wait a while to get anything, though, as I've just sunk more than that into my car to get it fixed.

I had the misfortune of finding out that Bioshock won't run with my ATI x700 - no sm3.0 support on the card.... guess I'll have to upgrade at some point.

My workplace had a week where we (IT) set up printers over AD... lots of weird little config issues popped up, but I had little trouble, as a Vista user on the network, getting the printers set up on my own system. Granted, we're in a domain, as opposed to a workgroup, but if a similar situation pops up I'll keep Enahs' workaround in mind.

Yeah. Still feeling kinda blech (sniffles, sinus stuff, sore throat, yadda yadda), so staying in for tonight - and going into GW for a while as I've got the Eye of the North preorder.
EDIT: maybe starting around 7-8PM Eastern time tonight?
I'll probablyy be my Monk/Mesmer (Akpuk Lienad) or Elementalist/Ranger (Leana Kipduk) char, as the others haven't really hit double-digit levels.

Why is their picture for the fat Americans study from someone in a London airport? Did they really have that much trouble finding someone that fat over here?

NASA should use the survivability of those rovers as leverage to get more funding lol.
Heck, the Voyager probes have lasted FAR beyond NASA's expectations. And they keep going... and going...
EDIT: Which makes me think, they should construct four more Voyager probes, the last of which may hopefully cause an alien dust cloud/entity to head toward Earth and assimilate everything on its way...

Was very hypnotic to watch while listening to Pomme Fritz (meat 'n' veg) by The Orb... it even seemed to synchronize very well with some video cuts!
Oh yes, I'd love to have that kind of home security, but unfortunately those organic "systems" aren't allowed in the apartment complex where I live.

Hint: look around for any "C" on the screen (inside the Flash window), whether it be alone or part of a word.

It should be under Control Panel - Power Options...
And if I recall you have to edit one of those performance choices if you want to have more specific control over the behaviour of the system.
