This is like tic-tac-toe from Wargames. The only way to win, is to not play. Too bad it took me this long to figure that out.
At this point I'd rather play MW3 over BF3 due to origin. But due to the Infinity Ward fiasco I'm left with choosing neither. Guess I'll play Rage + Deus Ex + Fallout New Vegas (late to the party) + Skyrim. |

FUUUUUCK, I literally went to Best Buy to purchase this game which is right next door to the gamestop.
I said to myself "more than likely gamestop won't even have the Windows version" and I said fuck it and went to best buy. Trust me, you'll be happier in the long run if you keep that attitude up. |

No hem, no haw. Buying this day one. Too bad everyone else makes things complicated with DRM and removing options like LAN. I really wanted to play D3 more than I played it at blizzcon last year. Oh well. |

I want to purchase this; this game looks rad.
That being said: Ubisoft drop your DRM. Or you wont see another dime from me on PC or console. In fact any game you publish at all will never be purchased by me. I wont even give you the time of day to pirate it.
Ubisoft: The kiss of death. |

eunichron wrote on Aug 4, 2011, 18:35: I really don't know where all this comes from. Having been a "hardcore" raider since Burning Crusade (I've taken a few breaks since then and now), gear has never been easier to get than it is now. I currently have a mage alt that just hit 85 several weeks ago, I put off gearing it up until the last week because my guild has been working on progression raiding ... PuGs. (As a healer:) Pugging through Wrath was awesome. Even raids and Heroics. Back when I quit, pugging heroics was nerve-racking, usually nothing I could do as a healer to keep people who didn't know what was going on alive (Where in wrath, I could say please don't stand in X ~ cata they'd die.)
I honestly don't like guilds. Every guild I've been in was rife with drama. Which usually I'd only stay in because of real life friends, or leave.
Edit: Healing as a priest BLEW. They had plenty of good ideas, but changed the bloody class about 100 times in the first month of cataclysm. This compounding the above made me hate my favorite character.

This last generation it appeared that NVidia has had quite a bit to worry about, especially with Fermi having such a terrible start. Edit: With the exception of vendor locked Physics APIs (Fuck NVidia) |

Hitbox looks interesting. I've always hated fighting games because the joysticks / input sucks. I wonder what it would take if I built my own to get it to work on ps3 / 360. Don't they require 3rd party certification for peripherals? I guess I could get it to work on PC without that complication. but then I'd still have to deal with Games for Windows Live -SHIT-
Interesting hardware project though, once I get some time, i'll probably build one. Edit: Looks like I could rip apart a 360 controller and build one onto that, but that's retarded; i'll probably just stick with PC, and looks like I could use an atmel for the PS3, maybe with a PC / PS3 switch on USB. http://code.google.com/p/diyps3controller/ |

| Most huge PC things have their own conventions. QuakeCon, BlizzCon, huge lan party + game competitions. (e.g.: Dreamhack) PC is way more diverse when it comes to shows than E3 has been. |

'most developers / publishers just upload incomplete builds to torrent servers' I call bullshit. Whoever wrote that has no idea what the shipping process is like. Even if there was an offshoot 'group/person' that their sole task was to do something like that it would be completely counter-productive. If the dev team found out, they'd be blood-thirsty. |

I think this is awesome, if I weren't in super crunch mode trying to ship our game I'd play more of these indy titles I've purchased but haven't had time to dive into. This got me to get my 20th bandaid in Super Meat Boy, complete a few more levels in Rush. I'm interested in checking out a couple more of the games in the potato sack, but don't have the time right now. Now if it would only unlock on Sunday, then I'd have time to play Portal 2 before we ship. (unlikely, but hey one can hope) |

| I think hotfix-aclysm killed wow for me. Back in January I remember logging in and having all my talents reset and skills totally reworked at least 2 times in one week (Priest). So many changes that there was no reason to try and keep up anymore (not to mention already getting bored with wow, and my wow-'friends') |
