What I am saying is that the last 3 Dem. candidates and the current Dem. members of congress, in particular, cannot take a stand on an issue and stick by it with any regularity. They are ALWAYS blowing in the wind - a signal of weakness to an enemy. That line of argument strikes me as extremely simple-minded and stupid. Maybe that's why it seems like an attractive line of thinking to gain support. Did you read the 9/11 commission report? The senators were acting on the information they were being given. And even then they obviously weren't in the same position as President Bush and I didn't see them specifically advocating the course of action that's been followed.
The man has no firm convictions he can stick to on most of the important issues.
Then, if he does decide to take a stand, he cannot articulate any specifics, he just speaks in grand platitudes which leave the unwashed masses feeling warm and fuzzy but never says anything concrete. Sounds like you don't like the guy and are pulling this stuff out of the air.

When I saw that this OOtB was at 183 posts, I thought, "Ah, political thread." Upon reading, I'm glad I didn't participate. Poorly argued on both sides. Also, the idea of "undecided voters" seems somewhat perplexing to me, unless they just haven't been paying any attention.

The guy at Gamestop just told me that Doom 3 "Won't be in until October, but if you reserve it now, you get a figurine."
The Gamestop employees at my local mall seem to have surpassed the EB employees in incompetence.

They worked with Weezer? Any friend of Weezer is a friend of mine. I'd personally phrase that as "any friend of weezer from 1990-1997."
And as I expected, that seems to have been little more than a bit of bullshit namedropping. Google reveals that although Chris Vrenna's name is mentioned next to weezer in lots of blurbs like the above, all he did was a (really shitty) remix of Hash Pipe. Lame.

I liked the movie well enough and wouldn't say I found it close to unwatchable, but I did have some similar sentiments when I saw it; I found many sequences to be too heavy handed, drawn out, and repetitive. I still found it reasonably enjoyable, however; I dig Spider Man.
