i was wondering if i was the only one who found the 'apology' (if it can be called that) pathetic but checking the forums related to the game shows everyone is insulted by it.
at least when EVE had that money fuck up or whatever it was, they did the whole proper damage control thing.

i was considering playing EQ2, but hell no after reading that.

you obviously never actually PLAYED the first games.
there is a difference in loading it up and playing a level or two, and playing it for weeks or months SP and MP.
how stupid do you have to be to try and convince yourself that vegas and its sequel are anything other than dumbed-down, bastard versions for the halo generation.

My first impressions.
The cut-scene - Reminds me of Quake3 cut scene with Serge, complete with cigar.
Game Footage - The more average bits from Pray.
It really does look like the Doom3 engine. In fact I think the original MacWorld show preview of the Doom3 engine impressed me more than this teaser.
If this was released 2 years ago it would have blown everyone away.
If it was released last year it would have looked good and providing the game play was actually fun it would have been a success ( as much as any game can be after 10 years of development )
So basically at least from a graphical stand point, it's missed it's time.
Still we don't know about:
- Physics
- AI
- Plot / Story ( not hopefull on this )
- Level Design ( must be fantastic by now )
- New Secret Innovation that's take almost 12 years to perfect and will blow all other games out of the water and justify development time.
do your research n00b. they have been working on this 'version' since 2004. that's 3 years. idiot.

i'm not sure if i beleive that whole 'build for employee party' thing. why would they need it? they work on the bloody thing.

im frustrated with the time its taken them, just for the fact i want to play it because they know how to make fun games.
but i truly do not understand the hate people have for it, as if they themselves are funding it weekly.
if your not a fan of it, don't bother reading these updates? if you are, read and enjoy? is it really that impossibly complicated for some of you?

i remember the first time i played shadow warrior, i was too busy laughing at the one-liners to actually play it properly.
3d realms PLEASE make a new one.
looking forward to this video also. i dont think the video can disappoint seeing as everyone seems to hate it already.
altho that video from 2000 or 2001 or whenever it was kicked arse.

i agree. for years and years i was fine with sequels. now im sick to death of them. new IP or GTFO.
i also love how they throw in the word 'mechanics'. reminds me of buisness speak; doesnt really explain a damn thing. BUT OUR MECHANICS > YOURS.

wouldnt they be better off concentrating their efforts on something new?
lots of games have their own little fanbase and thats cool, but its like they are living in a cave and have no realisation of the competition out there.
and if they are relying on the name 'gore' to get their fans in, wouldnt they be better off making something new and saying 'made by the creators of gore'?

i personally don't even read game reviews. if i do decide i want an opinion on a game, i will read forums with half decent users such as blues news.
you guys always give the 100% no bullshit view on whatever the subject is.
