Activision announces that because of the IW departures that they no longer have any staff on hand that can create the new game. Plus the fact that they are in a legal battle over the IP makes it very difficult for them to continue this franchise.

| After all of these people are leaving you have to wonder if what those guys were saying wasn’t true. You just don’t see this many people vacate a company only to re-join their original co workers on a new company without some shady shit going on in the back end. I really believe Activision was pulling some low down shit with them. You know Activision is feeling the heat from this one. |

BTW, as of earlier today, AC2 was offically cracked! The special note to Ubi is funny.

Thank you Ubisoft, this was quiete a challenge for us, but
nothing stops the leading force from doing what we do. Next
time focus on the game and not on the DRM. It was probably
horrible for all legit users. We just make their lifes easier.

For those interested, We made the Coop conversion of al lthe single player maps for this too. the Mod can be downloaded here. Im not sure if the game had any changes that might make the mod act up, but I will be testing that once its released.
add www to the start of the url, blues engine is to stupid to make the url for you like Voodooextremes site does. And their directions sucks ass to make a url.

Hey StingingVelvet, So $60.00 is good for games in this day and age? Don’t kid yourself, it is not. Most games now are slapped out onto the market with 4 hrs tops in game play. Also lacking in features or story. This is not what I call a good deal in fact it’s insulting that you pay good money to get short changed.
I just bought The Scourge Project, pretty good game over all. 17.99 2 Episodes with 4 player Coop. We just finished the first episode that took us a little over 4 hrs. That’s a great deal, and we still have one more episode to go all for the low price of $17.99
This is where I spend my money, and support developers like this that do not rip the paying customer off.

Ahh, Verno, yes there is a complete working version of the crack. I know someone who has already completed the game using that emulator.
And no it wasnt me I personaly didnt like AC. its not my type of game.

Verno, it doesn’t matter that it took people some time to figure it out, the fact it they did. So Ubishit can go screw themselves. As long as they feel the need to continue down their path of self destruction, I’m going to help them get there by Boycotting and avoiding their games like the plaque they are.
I hope every game they release is cracked; I will enjoy reading about that immensely.
The sooner this company dies off the better off everyone will be.

| When they start charging for Bnet, that’s when I stop buying any Blizz game. bNet is supposed to be free. And to be honest I don’t think it will come to that. With your Wow account bound to Bnet now I can’t see how they can double charge you for playing WOW and BNet. To many law suits will come from this. Plus I think WOW will die over night if that happens. |

I’d like to know just how this is going to evolve for those that don’t have an Internet connection. But I do know this Ubi, my money will be evolving its self to another developers pocket that does not screw us with this crappie DRM.

If I had even a thought about getting this game which I did not, this pretty much did it in for me. $60 Fricking dollars for a game thats been chopped up as it is in to 3 parts. Fuck Blizzard!
Ive played the beta and its nothng more than a re-hashing of the orginal game with better graphics. The only reason this game is going to sell is becauee the fucked up koreans will buy it no matter what and Blizzard knows that. |

| Notice how fast this ediitor came out? Usually it takes them months to release an editor. Things must be pretty bad if they are trying to drum up business with an editor. Im not buying this game either, they killed it for me too with the drm. way to go EA! |

The problem with the L4D2 boycott is that the guys who started it turned around and back stabbed everyone with their behind closed door deal with Valve. Did you all forget that Valve invited them to their offices and after that meeting these guys dropped their boycott leaving everyone with their thumbs up their asses looking stupid.
This is why the boycott failed; people don’t stick with what they say they are going to do. They were not committed to the cause.
