Yeah, that was a bit fucked up. I may blow people up in various games, but there's generally no residue left over, and I'm sure not chopping off the heads, taking off their clothes, and strategically arranging them all around the house.

Why not?

Because that doesn't sound fun or entertaining to me? Unlike the person who did this?

The person who did this must be psychotic; no one in their right mind does this kind of crap without having some kind of psychotic tendencies. That person needs to be evaluated; they are living out a dream in a game that they most likely have thoughts of doing in real life.

Some of you might find this funny and joke about it, but I donít see anything funny about decapitating people and storing heads on a shelf like itís a display case. This person is seriously demented.

Ghost Recon online is the biggest piece of shit I have ever had the displeasure of playing. It looked bad, played badly; it just made me want to puke. UBI, they never cease to amaze me at their stupidity. This is why I do not ever buy any of their games. I hope this company fails and goes out of business soon. Iím getting tired of reading their garbage and their continuous complaints about how piracy is killing their sales when in reality itís their own stupid decisions that doing it for them.

Anybody have Renegade Ops? Have they fixed the crazy controls yet? For people who obscenely want to play with a mouse and keyboard on the PC, of course, if you are using a gamepad, no comments please.

Also, is it just me, or does Orcs Must Die feel pretty weak after playing some Dungeon Defenders? I think if I had not been playing Dungeon Defenders I would have already bought OMD, but now...

Yes, there is an option you have to turn on thatís called Tank mode or something like that. It enables the keyboard to be used normally. The game play is so much more fun with this mode turned on and 10 times easier to control.

My response to this is, OK Croteam, youíre now allowed to convert this for the console. This is how all ports should be when making games on all platforms. Make it for the PC then dumb it down to fit the Console.

Game has been surprisingly stable for me given that it's a Bethesda game though performance sometimes tanks when they go too nuts with the indoor candle/torch effects.

Same here, I have not had any issues at all with the game, slowdowns or crashes. The Game has been very stable for me and plays great with all the maxed out settings and the INI fixes added.

These days, alternative game purchase options, like buying a CD not tied to a network client, are dwindling. So gamers are forced to use Steam.

Skyrim is a perfect example: the retail disk version is just the Steam client installer with the actual game compressed in a Steam format.

So Yes, I love Steam just like I love my cable TV company.

Wait until the day comes when Steam gets hacked like Sony did and they are down for a few weeks. Letís see how much you love Steam then when you canít get on and play any of your games.

Its only a matter of time until this happens.

I HATE, HATE, HATE having to backup all the obscure hidden folders that modern games use - when the FUCK did backing up saves become so much hassle? GFWL especially is a step backwards.
Don't forget flash games if you are into casual flash type games. They usually save save games in a flash object. Those can be hard to track down too. And nowadays (thanks to a recent decision by adobe), when you wipe browser cache, flash automatically clears out all flash objects too.

GFWL is the absolute worst when it comes to your save games. I canít tell you how many times Iíve had to restart Batman Gears of War and OF Red River because of the lost saves. I have even backed up those folders and tried recopying those files back after a rebuild and they still will not recognize those files as valid. And Microsoft wonders why everyone hates on GFWL, this is one of the biggest reason.

Neither do the fanboys and haters.

You really canít fault them for giving their game a good score. But they should have said in their review who they are.

I made a mod a few years back that took us almost one and a half years to make. On the site that hosts it we have the ability to rate our mod there, but I never did. I did not want to be accused of rating my own mod highly even though we were very proud of the work we did on it. It was a highlighted mod in PC Gamer too that got great reviews too.

I know all too well what itís like to see someone bash your hard work, especially for us when it was something that was free and offered over 30 hours of game play. The mod we made was for Never winter nights. ďEye of the BeholderĒ So itís not uncommon for someone to do what these guys did.

Makes sense, right now is way too crazy for games to release anything else. I love the AC series which he mentioned but I'm skipping Revelations until its like $20 because I've got enough games to play to last at least six months. Hell I still haven't finished Arkham City.

Same here, way too much to play right now. I am disappointed that itís not out yet, but Iím all for the game getting polished and running great. Iím sure we will see this game released in the next two months though. Any longer and they risk Diablo 3 coming out and they donít want to compete with that.

Right, that's a workaround involving other equips though like I mentioned earlier. People want to just hit one button to equip two weapons that they select without needing any workaround, end of story. It would just make things far easier. They don't want to be hitting 3-4 different keys to have to do it and they don't want to have to memorize what order they did things in so that it doesn't screw up in the middle of combat while they're worried about managing shouts/magic/weapons/etc.

Speaking of which, anyone know if there are Control 1-9 shortcuts or something? Having just 1-8 is really limiting and my favorites menu is bloated from all of silly dragon shouts and etc.

I donít think there is, it seems to be locked down to just those 8. And to me I think they should have made three Favorites menus. One for Weapons, one for Spells and one for Potions. I hate having to wade through that long list of crap.

Iím not sure why you all are having issues with it. I have two swords both with different enchantments. One with Ice the other with Fire and Iím having no issues at all with it. I havenít tried an Axe. So Iím not sure about those. I switch back between the swords and my bow a lot and a heal spell. But, I have had some issues with other keys sometimes seemingly getting confused and not working until; I hit either TAB or escape and they work again.

Are they the same sword though? I think you're misunderstanding what people are wanting here, they want a single hotkey to equip different weapons for dual wielding purposes. Try equipping an axe and a sword to the same hotkey, you can't. Any items that are "grouped" under the favorites menu you can dual wield by hitting the same button twice. For example if I have 3 Imperial Swords and I assign hotkey 5 to them I can dual wield them by hitting 5 twice. Once equips one of those imperial swords in my right hand, a second time equips another in my left. Any items that aren't grouped can't be dual wielded without using two different hotkeys to select them. There is an annoying workaround involving having one previously equipped and switching hands but we're not counting that because its silly.

It's just a limitation of the system they chose unfortunately, the only way it'll be fixed is likely through mods.

I understand what you are saying. Let me explain how I think this is working. Itís not the most refined way and thereís no rhyme or reason to why Bethesda did it this way.

I have two complete different swords. I bound one to #1 and the other to #2

I have my Bow bound to #4 and another one to #5

I think, the primary hand weapon needs to be the hot key used I hit the #1 key and both are re-equipped in both hands.

I will test out the Axes and Daggers when I get home. But Iím thinking that the primary hand weapon is the only key that needs to be hit in order to get both weapons equipped again. I may be wrong, but again I will test it when I get home. I do believe when I hit the #2 key only the one sword was equipped.

Also I do not have to hit the same key twice to get them to re-equip.

That only seems to work if you have two identical items with the same ID. If you're trying to dual wield a sword and an axe or two swords with different enchantments it doesn't work. It's a limitation of the favorites system unfortunately.

You guys realize that you can hot key weapons and spells in this game with the key pad and the number keys right?

Just hover the mouse over any item so that it turns white. And this has to be done while the Favorites menu is open. Then hit the number key to while the item is highlighted. Get out of the Favorite menu and hit the number key you assigned it and it is now hot keyed. In the Favorites menu if it works correctly you will see the number pop up in front of the item you hot keyed.

Works great and itís so much easier. They are basically using the same key mapping of items like Fallout.

You know damn well that EA is out there buying off other Developers to use their portal just like Sony did years ago with the Blue ray crap because they were desperate to beat out HD DVD. Which in my opinion was a far superior format.
