Well, NOT the PC version...the console versions are ready to play since nearly a week.

Ah wait...PC PIRACY IS RUINING GAMING!11
And not shit games which aren't even worth pirating...

The PC version may be out there but it is not cracked. Again, these lame news sites are doing what they always do by over stating things and trying to make it out worst then it usually is.

Yes, the Xbox version is out there and has been for a while now. But the PC version has the date timer on it. So it canít be cracked until the 6th.

Are you kidding me? Never, ever buy anything from Game fly, those guys are Crooks and thatís putting it nicely. They absolutely have the worst Customer support I have ever seen. Just go and read the comments on their site about how terrible they are. I in all my life never saw anything or read anything so horribly bad about one company and how uncaring and utterly horrid they are towards their customers.

Never sing up for their free trials offer. Itís a trap!! They will charge you 20 dollars for signing up and good luck trying to get a hold of anyone and getting your 20 dollars back.

I hate D2D for selling off to these assholes. My games there are now held hostage and Iím unable to get them when I try logging in it keep telling me that my account has been cancelled. Thanks a lot File Planet!!!

And yes, I have tried for weeks to get someone, anyone from Game fly to help me, but I have not heard a word from anyone.

Avoid Game Fly, itís a plaque that you donít not want or the head aches that go with their service.

Thanks for saving me some download time. Also worth noting, the so-called "Official page link" on the ModDB site goes to a generic web hosting template, one that offers a link to a surround sound speakers vendor.

Donít get me wrong, has got a lot of things going good in his mod. So as a modder myself. I am very critical of other modders and their lack of attentions when it comes to documentation and making sure their mod works as advertised. So Iím not cutting him any slack. The mod will be nice once heís got it to a level where it works. I just donít feel that itís at that level currently.

This is not an expansion; itís a standalone game and does not require the original game to run. So buy this game. Iím on the beta and played a four hour game with two other friends against the aI. Was a lot of fun The AI is not working fully yet. But itís an early beta and will have a lot of patches in the coming weeks.

BTW blues thanks for leaving me hanging with he email I sent you early yesterday about the beta going live. Appreciate that!!

Wow! Hope it's good! Or at least what he wanted it to be.

Itís not, you canít even setup the Graphics to maximum without it crashing out and giving you an error that thereís a corrupted file. Also the moron Modder did not explain in his documentation about how to even run his mod. He leaves you guessing. Idiot!! I emailed him asking how you run his mod, his repay was go read the documentation from the original game.

Wow, how uncaring can anyone be about trying to get people interested in their own mod. He assumes that everyone knows how to run mods in CnC3.

You have to run the launcher window and then choose the tab for mods that was added with the latest 1.9 version patch. Then run his game. Again, it crashes when trying to use higher end graphics.

The guy didnít even test his own mod very well to make sure it at least works.

Hydrophobia was one of those titles where you could tell if the developer had had just a little more time (and money) it could have been really good. As it was I think they concentrated a little too much on the water effects and not enough on the game play. I liked it well enough to get about halfway in and then I lost interest.

I enjoyed the game up to the point where you were fighting the final boss. That was so over the top stupid that I just ended up quitting and never finished the game. The final fight got way to stupidly hard to complete. I like a challenge but not at the expense of being frustrated.

What a moronic response. The whole point was that someone claimed that Turbine did F2P "right". If your response to someone complaining they need to either pay for all the individual content, or spend shitloads of time grinding is "subscribe", then they pretty fucking obviously haven't done F2P right. From a consumer standpoint, that is, I'm sure from a "part fool from money" perspective they are doing awesome.

My exact thoughts too. And Iíll just add this. F2P is not free to play; itís more like Forced to pay.

Sorry, but I drew the line after being nickel and dimed and quit. Too many other games to play then being forced into this crap.

ME3 looks to be a great game. However, I refuse to support EA's attempt to undermine Steam. And it's not because I'm blindly loyal to Steam, as I don't mind buying Blizzard games via Battle.net - that's because they're not specifically boycotting Steam, as their games aren't available on other digital distribution services. But EA is happy to sell their games on every platform, except for Steam.

Agreed! Ill second this post. my feelings exactly.

I can't even remember the last DDO expansion. I guess the game must be doing well for them to be doing this.

I saw that LOTRO also just expanded (Isengard) and is already planning another new one (Rohan).

Good for Turbine - fun and well-designed MMOs. Well deserved. My orcs love playing LOTRO in particular.

Yeah, I agree. If there is a company that is doing F2P correctly, it is Turbine.

I have to disagree with you totally on that point. If there is one company that is not doing F2P correctly it is Turbine. They charge you for each new area you can go quest in. I tried playing this game, but once youíre past the beginner area, they charge for any new questing area. That is utter crap. STO and DC Online do not do that to their customers.

They charge you for added content like expanding inventory or crew members. But they do not change you for each and every area that you try to venture into. That is what killed this game for me. I was not willing to buy each new area I wanted to do a quest in.

Yes you can earn points that can open those areas, but again I was not willing to grind out the same areas over and over just to earn those points. Sorry, but DDO is fail when it comes to being a true F2P online game.

I would like to give Bioware the benefit of the doubt, but I donít feel that this game will be any different then SWTOR. To many knee jerk decisions made and they are way to quick to make changes without talking to the community or letting the game get its legs to see how itís going to pan out. Plus the fact that they donít even have SWTOR under control yet doesnít really bode well for them trying to take on another MMO at this point.

You must be joking, Iíve been on the beta for many months, and playing it with friends 4 players coop and never once did any of us have any issues at all with Lag or any animation issues. I think someone needs to get a better pc or get his ISP checked. And btw, we have played thru the beta through several versions up to the latest and with each itís only gotten better.

Actually after reading that thread, the skirmish is available but it is limited to 1vs1 so no coop against the AI. You are also unlocking and leveling up but only for 1vs1 maps? Not sure I understand that, but anyways, as long as I can "practice" offline and not against a live player I am happy. Most time I am playing 1vs1 against the AI anyways so it is not a big deal for me at least.

Itís a big deal for me and my friends; we get together twice a month and play Coop type games. and we love RTS games against the AI. So this game rapidly fell off our list. But we are hoping Eugene sees the light and hooks us up.

What's this game like? Does it play like RUSE ?

Iíll let you all know now, if you are looking to play against AI in multiplayer Skirmishes, then skip this game. There is no AI in the game at all. Except for a 1V1 SP skirmish. Thereís a big forum posting about this and how everyone is disappointed and trying to get Eugene to give in and add it to the game. But at this time there is no word from Eugene that they will add it any time soon. The game is basically a MP PVP ladder game. Very disappointing but thatís what it is.

If you wish to have your voice heard and want AI added, then go to this site and voice your opinion.

I found the first Borderlands to be subpar at best. Dunno what people saw in that game. The concept is gold, but the execution was terrible.

Your problem is that you never played it with three other friends. The game rocked playing it four players Coop. Thatís where the real fun was.

ME3 could have the potential of becoming a System Shock 2-like Coop-MP experience, and this is what I'm after.

Yeah, that's not what it's going to be. It's just a "Survive the Waves" co-op mode. That's all it is.

Creston

Are you sure about that? Iím not so certain, they stated a while back that the Coop would have its own story and would have an effect on the main campaign. Iíll have to do some looking, but I think that Coop your thinking about is one of the play modes in the game but not the only one.

Update:: According to Priestly, "players can choose from a variety of classes and races, form an elite Special Forces squad, and combine their weapons, powers and abilities to devastating effect as they fight together to liberate key territories from enemy control."

Priestly also revealed that co-op missions will affect the single player campaign, having a "direct impact" and "giving players an alternative method of achieving ultimate victory."

That isn't dying. Your char is still playable. It's just a xp loss and your equipment is still on your char. They should have a mode where you have just one life. I'm not talking about difficulty, just removing the immortality of the char. Even three lives would be fine. Just some sort of *real* penalty for dieing.

edit: like the D3 unicorn rainbow t-shirt.

If you want to play that way, have at it. but donít lobby for the rest of us who DO NOT want persistent death on a character I have spent countless hours building up and playing just to have it die and be gone forever. No thank you. I do not care for that crap nor do I want it. If itís a setting or Hard Core mode for players like you thatís great, but do not force it in the three other modes that many of us like to play in.
