Sorry, but realism sucks in games. What is so fun about playing a game and getting shot one time just so you can die without even firing one shot off? Oh yea that’s a lot of fun. Not hardly!!! Realism does not work well in games; the AI is not hindered by aiming or always knowing where you are in the game. There is nothing fun about dying constantly because the AI has their magical crystal ball of where the player is at all times. |

| Lets see how badly this one will be and buggy. I never have any faith in their games, I want to like them but they are usually released to early and in such a buggy broken state that its really hard to enjoy their stuff. |

| They really need to license the Flow Tech engine license from Gas Powered Games and make really large maps where you can feel like you’re in larger than life battles. That small ass crap they use for maps now is so old school that it’s a big turn off to play their games. They really need to think outside the box and go for a much larger world like Sup Com. And defiantly get rid of that constant online DRM. |

And the game isn’t that bad at all, screw the AI commanding around. The AI you use do suck ass, but playing the game Coop with friends is where this game really shines. |

Uhhm, give it a bit of time. They don't have everything back up and running yet. ie: PSN is back online for multiplayer, Trophies etc...but the Store is still down, which is where the "free stuff" will be redeemed.
As far as SoE is concerned, if it hasn't already started, you will get your free time. Go cry somewhere else if you can't give them till the end of the month, as has been widely publicized as their timeframe to have it all back up 100%.
They have already given us those days; they did not give me all the days I was supposed to get back. They have fallen way short of what should have gotten. That’s the problem I’m having with Sony and not believing a damn word they say. How can we after the fiasco they just put everyone though. |

Ok, I don't understand that statement...from what you're saying here, it means that not only did SOE give you your original 30 days but ALSO the 10 days they were down for, there by giving you a total of 40 days free time, starting now? So, in other words, based on this you're getting MORE than what you had originally and you're STILL complaining about it?!? WTF?!?
I agree with Techie, you need to understand that you weren't the ONLY one not able to play their game, it affected all us who play SOE games online. If you call SOE to complain after getting MORE than you had previously, you're gonna make a serious ass out of yourself...I say just deal with it like the rest of us and be glad you can actually play now...

Rigs, what you and others seem to not understand is that everyone no matter who it is got the 30 days , plus more. I originally had my initial 30 days that I had only used 10 of those days. On top of their down time I lost those days, not only did I loose the 10 days but I lost the rest of that month’s worth of days too. All they did was give me the 30 days that everyone got and about 10 more on top of that.
They didn’t even bother to give me back the days I still had on the books which was about 15 days after the downtime. That’s bullshit. Those were my days, no different then anyone else who has been paying for the game that lost their days. |

| My god, would they stop with all the 3D crap already, it’s the worst fricking tech to ever be made and is ruining IMAX movies. Why do they think people want 3D when it’s a totally failure and nothing more than a gimmick. Hollywood is so blinded by idiocy, you can’t even go an enjoy a movie without it being 3D anymore. You can’t even go and see IMAX anymore without it being 3D. Absolutely absurd! |

Sony owes those of us our time back whether its 1 day to 30 days, I bought and paid for the game and that was my 30 days, 30 days free or not. I still paid for the game. It does not matter it’s a matter of principle, if your standards are that low, then that’s your issue not mine, I’m in the mind set of I will fight for what is mine.

Have to agree with this article, I also stopped playing over a month ago. Same reason got fed up with the bullshit heroics and constant wiping and re-running that same shit over and over. Blizzard never understood that most players are not hard Core like they envisioned it and they cater their dungeons to the hard core guilds. This really deters others and causes many to just give up and stop playing. I was in a guild, one of the best on our server. We beat Nefarian only once on normal mode since the add-on been out. That’s fucking pathetic!!! That’s how hard the dungeons are.
I recall a while back that Blizz sat with one of the better guilds one night tweaking the nefarian fight as they played to work out the bugs and difficulty of the fight. This is how lazy blizz has gotten over the years, too much money and no will to properly QA their shit. They fixed that fight up to that guilds level ability.
Not every guild can be as good as some of those guilds. It just takes the wind out of players when they are paying good money to play this game and can’t even experience all of its content because of the difficult factor involved.

Me any everyone else who want to play Coop, that’s who. Get a life dude, BF3 will not have Coop so how is it really better? Just because it has nice graphics doesn’t make it a great game. But at least Red River has it and it is fun. |

| Funny how Valve and other developers have finally figured out what we all knew years ago that Episodic releases we not the way to go. We will probably never see HL EP 3 now. SINS fell the same way. We got one episode and that was it. Valve has pretty much confirmed that HL may never have an ending. |

I think you guys are looking at this all wrong, I know we all have seen the videos but video sometimes does not translate well when it comes to seeing it on the PC on your own monitor pushing it as high as you can go with the settings. I don’t think this game looks crappy in anyway. Nor do the textures look bad as some believe. I’m a firm believer in, I need to play it before I make any assumptions on how bad it looks and plays. I seriously doubt ID spent the last 6 years making this game to have it underachieve.
Personally I’m looking forward to the game and think it’s looking pretty damn good.
