Here, allow me to correct the wording for this game.

Warner’s ‘Batman Arkham’ series is back with a loud thud as it crashed hard in the fourth installment ‘Batman Arkham Knight’
transitions to the PC and becoming the new No1 returned game in history as Warner pulled all copies of the game from store shelves and digital sales.

BTW installment was spelled wrong.

1. Re: The Bard's Tale IV Chris Avellone Stretch Goal Jun 29, 2015, 10:23 Darks

I backed this and loved the old Bards Tale, but I cant help feeling that these stretch goals are goals they already had planed to begin with and are just trying to entice people to further back the game.

Kind of feels like they are not putting forth their best foot for these types of stretch goals.

Just my feeling of course.

Funny how many try to debunk what the NSA did when in fact we have no idea who our allies will be in the future or our enemies.

This leads me to that one Justice League Show where they had a conversation about the League and Batman said he keeps a file on every member in the league about their strengths and weaknesses so if he ever had to go again them he would know how to do it.

This is a great tactic and anyone that disagrees will find them selves in trouble every time if you are not armed to take on that battle.

Keep your enemies close and your friends closer?? Yeah, great tactic (it's actually strategy) that, not trusting your 'allies' and alienating them at every opportunity. It's awesome that a comic book show teaches kids not to trust one another, makes for a great fucking society to grow up in.

Thats the world we live in dude, like it or not that is how it is. and if you think our allies are not doing the same then you are delusional.

And by the way, the mentality is, we know they are doing and they know we know they are doing it, but we all pretend that we don't know they are doing it when we know they are.

As much as I dislike DRM, Denuvo has never been really linked to any performance problems in games, its just randomized executable encryption. The performance issues are just shoddy porting and a lack of optimization. This one is totally on them and WBIE.

I do think they took the right approach here after their screw up and its good that they are prioritizing fixes now.

you are joking right? That DRM continually reads and writes to your hard drive. its also been know to cause issues with SSD drives to shut down because of the constant read and writes.

And anyone that knows anything about the hard drive constantly grinding because of the all the reading and writing will cause your CPU to have to wait until it can continue the next cycle. Dont ever be fooled into thinking this DRM does not cause slow downs because of all those read writes.

The best and easiest way to explain this is when you copy a large movie file from your hard drive to another drive. and then try to do another Copy of a large file on your pc. that file copy is much slower coping the files. which also causes the other file copy to slow down.

Same principle in place, and yes it will cause your pc to slow down. Maybe not so much for the higher PCs, but those who don't have high end pcs feel it the most.

And yes you are right, it is a shoddy release. but that DRM is not helping the situation at all.

2. Re: Arkham Knight PC Fixed Prioritized Jun 26, 2015, 09:30 Darks

The first thing they need to prioritize is the removal of that draconian DRM Denuvo they implemented. That is part of the performance issues with this game.

And probably why the Console editions don't have stuttering issues. The console are not hindered by this DRM.

LOL, Good one nin!

Its an interesting idea, but its not a game that I will ever play. I really didn't care for the Tron look with a Motion Tracker feel to get around.

But, there are those who like it so to each their own as they say.

Same old story, but just another day.

The last Batman that was released also had issues out the door. it took them several patches to get it fixed. Anyone recall the Save game fiasco where you lost your progress after playing for a bit?

Yea, these guys haven't learned a damn thing from their past mistakes and continue making mistakes.

Another reason why I did not buy this one out the door. Poor old Batman, Ill see you in a year when you are 5 dollars.

This is clearly an effort to make some quick money after 'sins of dark age' MOBA, tanked so viciously hard. If you look at the current steam charts for the game, there are currently 42 (that's right forty two) people playing that game this moment.

http://steamcharts.com/app/251970

I expect bluesnews headline for sins of a dark age server closure any moment.

LOL. Dude I called this one over a year ago when I was in the beta and saw the game and said to my Son who loves LOL and played it religiously for a long time until he finally quit.

They came to the party way to late and were hoping to cash in on the success of the popularity of this type of game.

Instead they should have been putting all of their effort into Sins 2 stupid developers. Now, most likely we will never see sins 2. it will end up like Homeworld did. put on the back end of a shelf and forgotten until someone else buys the IP and takes it over.

Sword Coast Legends' powerful DM tools are promising

Real details are still scant. Some people claim it's going to be heavily monetized. Others still that it's online only - even SP. The fact that n-space isn't doing anything to clear this up or dissuade this sort of talk leads me to believe it will probably be the case. Unless they come out to the contrary this game is now off my radar.

We don't know that yet Cutter, and Ash just posted yesterday that they are going to post up the 30 mins demos plus more in the next week or so. So give it time dude.

Where is SoaSE2, Ironclad? I can't speak for all of your fanbase, but I at least would like SoaSE2 a lot more than whatever MOBA nonsense you're probably working on right now.

I'm with you on this one, everyone has bought most all DLC and addons. This is a complete waste of effort. Give us Sins 2 IC.

I made a mod for this game that makes all Cap ship for all Races much tougher and extended range for all weapons platforms. I also converted those stupid planet killing super-weapons into Inner planetary Ion Cannons. So awesome to set up a few of these and watch them defend an area from smaller ships.

They are not over powered, and can be taken out easily. but they will defiantly thump you a few times before you take them out.

Glad I cant stand those game. I loved the first series because it was set in the Crusades era. but after they they went all stupid with all the other games.

Well, glad I bought the game when it first released. or am I mistaken on how this works? Because they have done a good job at misleading us and confusing the hell out of everyone on what you get or cant without buying the whole package again.

Anyone else confused?

Didn't that asswipe Bleszinski retire from ANY and ALL game development a couple of years ago?? He should stick with that.

Yes he did, he went ass head over heels about PC gaming and piracy and how he would never make another game for the PC after the first Gears of War because people were bitching about the issues it had on release for the PC. So he got all ass hurt and went off on the community.

Which is why we never saw another GOW on the PC after that. and why I hate that bastard.
