Sadly, Bethesda isn't really well known for releasing better looking PC versions of their stuff. It's always the same game across all platforms. :\

(Okay, at least they released a somewhat decent HD texture pack for Skyrim, so hopefully with the 8+ million PC sales of Skyrim, they've decided to put more than 0 cents of effort into their PC port.)

I still believe that the version they showed of last night was on the Xbox. The buttons they had pooping up on the screen where clearly Xbox button from a controller. Does the PC version give you those options to when using the controller? Cant comment on that because I despise controllers for any FPS game.

KB&M All the way!

Anyone know if those Armored Bear Mounts will become available for us later?

The new area look nice, not sure if the Capital is now a PVP zone, I hope not!

Clearly a lot of people are very easily impressed. I, for one, am not. Looks like this will be the first Fallout title I'll be skipping. It doesn't appear to have anything to do with Fallout except share the name. It looks like a bad Saints Row mod more than anything else. It looks like ass. And as usual Bethsoft champions style over substance. Which is fine for a game like DOOM, not for what's supposed to be a CRPG like Fallout. Welp, at least Witcher 3 delivered in a massive way. Wake me after 2 years, a million mods, and a $5 GOTY sale and I may just give this a whirl at that point.

Sorry Brother, but we are on opposite sides of the fence on this one.

Its not that I'm easily impressed. I just happen to love these type of games, I love Post Apocalyptic style games with endless exploring. so that's why I'm on board day one. and bought the Collectors. having the Pip Boy will be something that you can keep and most likely it will be worth a lot to someone some day. I will keep this in pristine condition like I do with a lot of these types of things.

Have a great day

Is there a link to the video? Blues recap doesn't seem to discuss the story itself or if there is an optional strategic combat camera. What I'd also like to know if there are branching consequences (inXile or CD Projekt level of caliber), updated follower orders, etc. and hopefully no mention of paid modding.
Here

Don't see the video there either. For some reason Bethesda has not posted it yet.

Funny how this KS stalled right after the give away ended.

I don't think this new one is going to carry them over the mark. but the game will fund, most likely they will get a lot in the last few days.

You're absolutely right...the fifteen years I spent in game development left me with zero knowledge of how things work.

Can you even read, or is it just that comprehension is just too much effort to bother with? I SAID I didn't have an opinion on your buddy's reputation. I was calling out the absurdity of you taking offense that people tie that game to his reputation. THAT is the way the world works...it's as simple as that. If he hadn't wanted his name tied to that game, he should have refused. Once he agreed to take over (and -why- he agreed is completely irrelevant), it was inevitable that it would affect his reputation. Crying that it's unfair is juvenile and pointless...especially when it's coming from someone who isn't even directly affected.

Yea, I read very well thank you, but still you are acting like one of those people who jump to conclusion and assume that they are fully responsible for that game or any other. just because you are associated with the development of so called games does not mean you are fully responsible for how it turns out when you have bean counters pushing the development cycle and limiting you and your options. Atari Anyone!!!

If you are or were a developer then you should know all to well about this type of crap going on in the industry and it should bother you the way things go. Dont defend something you are totally against when this type of thing happens.

BTW, who were you developing code for and were they a game developer? lets see if we are comparing apple to oranges here.

working for a private company is one thing, but working for a game developer is totally different.

And your right I will defend him, because no one else is going to set the facts straight. If that bothers you, then sorry. but that's how its going to be.

I didn't know that...but even that doesn't give me a lot of hope. Age of Empires Online anyone?

I was never impressed with S.Commander....though I've purchased TA and core contingency multiple times over the years just because of it's massive scale.

I really get annoyed when people come down on Chris for the Age of Empires Online. He had nothing to do with how that game was created. What happened was he took over the production of the game at the late stages after most of the game was built. Microsoft didn't like how that game was being run and fired the previous team then brought in Chris and his team to get it to the finish line.

Some of you guys really need to do your home work before jumping to conclusions.

I know many people didn't like Sup Com 2 because he went the Console route. but you have to understand the background on his company and what was going on. He was hurting for cash, to the point where he needed to try and make as much money from all markets or the ship was sunk. As we all know, that ship almost sank which is why he sold out to Wargaming.net

It doesn't really matter if he had anything to do with creating the game or not. If you agree to take over production, you get associated with it, whether for good or bad. It's really a bit disingenuous to get annoyed about how people will do that. That's simply reality.

And just to be clear, I've no opinion on him one way or the other, I've never played any of his games, nor have I played any of GPG's games. For that matter, the only Wargaming.net game I've played was WoT, and I rather liked that...if only for short periods of time.

You apparently have no clue how things work in the development world of gaming or what transpired with that deal with Microsoft. The ground work was already laid out they just brought the game to the finish line with what they had to work with. from what you are saying they should have redesigned the entire game. Sorry, but that wast going to happen because of the time constraints given to them. This is the same thing that handicapped Gearbox over Duke Nukem.

Learn the facts before you bash someone about something you clearly have no knowledge of.

No optimism here. Wargaming's dev model is incompatible with anything remotely akin to MoO. They will dumb it down, make it f2p, and sell golden antarian ammo for cash.

Hey Darks, you're acquainted with Chris, right? What's he working on? I tried doing a google search last month and couldn't come up with anything.

Yes I am, hes a good friend of mine.

I know hes working on two things, one hes not telling anyone about because its not ready yet. And they are working on MOO also. I know they are doing some work on it just not main part of the game. Not sure how much though.

My persona l feeling is, hes working on TA since Wargaming bought that IP a few years back. But that's my guess. And I'm betting its a good one.

Same here. I cant count the hours I spent playing that game. Im hoping this new game will be everything and more.

Hopefully we will see more about this from E3.

Glad they finally let the rabbit out of the hat. Not understanding why they have been so tight lipped about this game and letting us know about the tools and how they work and about the games many features.

Its like trying to pull teeth from a Grizzly Bear to get any information from them.

Its with the mutagen crafting, you have to sometimes drop one to make another, especially if you're shooting for greater mutagens. It's weird, I'll take a video demoing it on Youtube later when I get home from work.

OK, thanks dude.
