You gotta love how it takes a million dollars to get a new Star System made. What does it really take to make a star system? Placing planets and asteroids and scripting in some missions. That does not take a million dollars.

I eagerly await the day when these hackers will get around to doing something infinitely more constructive with their talent then DDosing digital game retailers. Ok i get it. EA is universally hated by gamers but surely there are other more worthwhile targets out there if you really want to make a point??

I agree Black, Attacking these servers serve no purpose at all. All they are doing is hurting the gamers trying to connect to these services. These guys are more dangerous than the normal every day person who pirates a movie or game. The Gov. seems more interested in taking down pirated sites when they should be putting their efforts into taking these asshats off line permanently.

Not so. America is worse because people actually can affect government and its policies. They simply choose not to out of apathy and greed.

And Darks calling someone or something else dumb is the height of irony. Put that clown on ignore.

Tiananmen Square. Need I say more? I can go on and on about their policies and lack of environmental procedures too. The country is a toxic wasteland.

China is such a stupid country, when they make a big issue out of something all it does is draw more attention to them and their problems there. I never once up un till now thought any negativity about Chinas being portrayed from the game until they started whining about it.

This is really sad, but in all seriousness, Blizzards owner Mike Morhaime should be the standup guy and help this person. If they donít, then again, Blizzard can kiss my ass. This is someone that worked his butt off and helped make Blizzard into what it is today. Totally sad to see Blizzard not helping this person out.

DayZ is living off the memory and hype from the mod. Iíve read too far to much negativity and complaints from others in the steam forums that the mod is way better than the Alpha. There is such a things as releasing something too early that can cause a bad vibe for a game. I think thatís happening now with DayZ. Especially since they are saying still a year away from beta.

Full-fledged uplay integration.

I donít much care for Uplay either but what I do like about it is playing games earn you credits to buy nice add-ons and DLC for free. At least they are giving you rewards for playing the games.

And I am totally onboard with these developers; I met these guys years ago when they worked on Ground Control at E3. The Devs were a great bunch of people to talk with and cared about their games and getting community feedback.

Iíll be supporting this game.

Snowden's no "whistle-blower"...he's a lying, cheating high-school dropout sociopath who fled the country after breaking every oath he ever took with his country and his employer. His word means nothing and he cannot be trusted. He broke into his supervisor's computer after stealing the password, got the answers to an NSA entry exam and passed the test. I'd bet 99% of his "releases" are either made up completely or else completely out of context.

Whistle-blowers do *not* act like Snowden--they stay in the US and blow their whistles. They have the courage of their convictions! Ever heard of a US whistle-blower who fled the country, then blew the whistle, and then moved to mother Russia? I didn't think so.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/nsa-speaks-out-on-snowden-spying/

If, in the United States, we had anything besides a corrupt, inept, ludicrously stupid and incompetent Media Press, Snowden's "whistle-blowing" would have been laughed to scorn with jeers from the start.

Snowden's going to discover that hanging might be preferable to living out his days in Russia, or anywhere else, for that matter. Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home, eh Snowden? Don't kid yourself--Snowden now fully realizes the extent of what he's done and would give *anything* to undo it all. But it's too late for that kind of sentiment as the choice is no longer his. This is a wonderful example for anyone else thinking of unwisely burning his bridges.

We are on the same page Walt, I canít agree more with your comments. The guy is a low life piece of shit.

Only one gets raped, Ned Beatty, but Burt puts an arrow through one of the guys. Really good movie.

For those looking for elder scrolls gameplay with multiplayer... keep looking.

For those looking for elder scrolls themes, lore, and visuals, with pretty modern mmorpg gameplay, give this game a try.

I can't help but wonder how many people will buy this game thinking it is Skyrim Online. Oh how disappointed they will be.

I really wish Bethesda the best of luck with this game, and they will really be needing it with the monthly subscription fee. I expect to see a successful release and then a flood of players leaving the game in disappointment and because of the subscription fee. It will probably be fairly similar to the rise and fall of the SWTOR MMO subscription numbers.

Iíll tell you this; I prefer a monthly fee over the F2P model any day. F2P is NOT F2P. You will end up spending a hell of a lot more in terms of side crap people always miss and need in games. Storage space, bag space. char slots. and gaining access to your funds that are placed in Escrow. Those things are not free in most of the so called free to play models.

I hate mmos, but I LOOOOOOVE Elder Scrolls. I'll play it, but I expect to grow tired of it very soon.

There's a tragedy here though. They designed a ton of provinces in a very short time. This mean that they'll be very generic. They won't have the absolute love that Morrowind and Skyrim got for example. This means that the next single player Elder Scroll games' creative liberties will be severly limited...

There's already proof of that, let me dig something up.

Edit: Can't find the image, but basically, the lore describes an Elven city as being amazingly bright and alien, but in ESO it looks like a generic brick fort...

I was one of those 300K that played it the entire weekend, I really liked what I saw, but there were defiantly a lot of issues that needed to be ironed out. Iím pretty sure there going to be more betas after the holidays. So it will be nice to see the difference once this goes live in April.

Iím kind of surprised at the early release date; I kind of figured a June release. As with any new MMO there are going to be launch day issues.

Gadzooks, Iím not sure what you mean about the MP aspect of the game. Itís all MP itís an MMO. People running around all over the place so your comment is very vague.

It could be that it happened to me twice in that house. I always check out every are in a game, so I might have run into this twice.

EDIT: Tha actually happened to this guy in June, and it hasn't been fixed yet. It happened to me a couple of weeks ago.

Interesting, but I see the devs are now aware of that house. So it looks like this will or should be getting fixed. I guess itís a problem with falling through the world.

El Pit, for now I would just avoid that house. Everythng else so far like we said has been pretty rock solid.

Say what? Iíve been playing this game for months now, and I have never once had any issues at all with the game. In fact itís been very stable. I have never heard of this bug until now. Has Crate acknowledged this as a bug?

Acknowledged this as a bug? You mean it's rather a very annoying feature?

Happened twice to me. That's why I stopped playing. I can wait.

Iím confused El Pit, how is this a feature in the game? There is no water in the game that I have ever seen that floods an area purposely. I would still report this is your having issues like this.
