Cheaters/griefers in the new wave of persistent survival games? Who could have seen this coming?

This is the problem with games like this and DayZ. You have way to make idiot player killing for joy rather than playing to survive. This I why I do not do PVP or any survival game that has open player killing.

They really need two sets of servers, one for the idiots who like that crap and a PVE server where players can enjoy the game without having to worry about some camping sniper idiot who gets his kicks out of killing others.

Plus this developer has pretty well just shot his foot off with the Zombie removal from the game. And yes the cheating thatís running rampant in this game is bad. My Son was playing this with his friends but they gave up on the game because it got so bad.

LOL, for sure. I personally stay away from any App on the stores that claim F2P. Because that shit went right out the door with any so called F2P App.

And EA and how they are manipulating the score by saying Rate us for Future Updates is a sneaky BS tactic they are pulling. I think this is even gaining attention that its breaking the TOS and Apple may be looking into this now. I hope so, and they remove the app.

Thanks Rick! And no, Red, it's not about being cheap. It does the job for what's intended just fine. There is certainly nothing wrong with it enough to warrant dropping a 100 bucks for no real reason.

Not a problem dude, glad to help out.

Because you deserve to be dragged into the street and stoned if your still running Vista.

Why should I go out and give MS another $100 when this OS works fine?

You got to be kidding me with that comment cutter, Vista does not and has never worked fine. Itís a caching pig, Have you ever just sat there and listened to your hard drive grind to death because itís constantly caching your files? Im suprised you havnt replaced a Hard Drive by now.

There many other things that is also wrong with that OS like being a slow over bloated pig which is why Microsoft pushed Win 7 out so quickly.

BTW Cutter, I have several Win 7 Pro keys, you can have one if you like. Sent you an email with the key.

Windows 7 does the same caching bit. You can turn it off in both. Vista crashes less than my iPod touch.

Wrong!!! It has minimal caching that goes on. Vista was a pig, it constantly sits there grinding your hard drive to death. Donít even place Win 7 in that category. You are completely wrong about it.

I haven't looked at it lately. What's wrong with it exactly?

Keep in mind that the game is pre-pre-pre-alpha, and these are just my thoughts. I hate to base a decision on graphics, especially one this early in development, but they're just so bad that it's hard to look past them. They really remind me of Asheron's Call 1. The assets from the store in Unity are better than this. Along with the graphics, the character animations and looks are just as badly done, and the interface/controls are terrible. So that was the very first thing that struck me.

Furthermore, it seems that every update that comes out about the game is almost entirely devoted to the housing system. And with good reason (from their side). They're selling plots of land in the game to help fund it. The more time goes on, the more this looks like just an attempt to sell virtual houses. There's talk of other systems, but we hardly ever see anything. The alpha build we got to play was very limited, and surprise, focused on the buildings. And the furniture that goes in the buildings. And the little dresses you can get for your dollies. And the tea-time and ...

I think I dumped around $100 bucks in to the Kickstarter, and I regret doing that now. I have zero interest in the game. As I mentioned in another thread, this game pretty well destroyed my belief that I could play an alpha and be a good tester. If it's going to look like this, I'll wait for beta or release (and in fact I am). I've not played since one of the original downloads. Anyway, I really hope they turn this around. It sounded really fun. All my friends jumped in. I'll just avoid the updates until it gets close to release.

This, this exactly explains how I feel about this game I'm on the Pre Alpha, and its such a disaster of a game. just utterly horrid.

I expect this game to crash pretty hard, seems very blah and after skyrim that isn't what I expect.

Nope, not a bad omen, the game is locked down with an NDA. No one is allowed opt post anything unless Bethesda give the okay.

But I will say that I do like the game a lot. its been fun so far. defiantly has its issues because of beta but that's northing new in any new MMO.

GMG was giving out codes today for a 25 percent discount on the game. I got the Imperial Edition for 60 dollars. Not a bad deal saved 20 dollars and considering the Mount you get because those things are pricy in the game and all the other perks that comes with it.

BTW, that code is a specific code assigned to your account and you have to be receiving email alerts from GMG in order to have gotten the code.

Iím not the type that makes videos about games or post videos for that matter. But I wouldnít mind making one for Dead Space 3 Coop if you get paid enough for this kind of stuff. I bought this game a while back on that EA Humble Bundle deal, and this game has been a lot of fun Coop. Especially all the added special areas that only Coop players can do.

Whenever I get an ARPG itch I go back and play Dungeon Siege 2.

I don't know why that game doesn't get more credit. It was everything Diablo 2 was and more, just without battle.net.

Sacred 2 and the TQ expansion were good, but they just don't draw me back like DS2 does.

Putting dungeon siege and diablo in the same sentence is laughable. DS took the auto-combat route, Dungeon siege 2 copied all that MMO AI controlled combat shit that didn't exist in diablo. The dungeon siege games were games you watched more than you played. What the original DS had going for it was the atmosphere and the unique way skills leveled up. Dungeon siege 2 was a giant snorefest and broke everything that was good about the first one. DS1 was alright because it sat on the knife's edge of player participation and novelty, DS2 was just broken on such a fundamental level.

Well, that your opinion, but many of us here actually enjoyed DS2 and still do. As for the auto combat, that was done purposely because of the sheer amount of enemies you had to deal with at one time. it was way too hard to have to manually attack everything. And apparently you didnít look at the option very closely. You could turn off the auto attack at any time.

I think the whole point of this is to allow those who would not otherwise get the chance to show off what they can do. I think they all know that their work is subject to being used especially if that person gets hired by EA. I think everyone understands that and is willing to take the chance if they can get hired.

You gotta love how it takes a million dollars to get a new Star System made. What does it really take to make a star system? Placing planets and asteroids and scripting in some missions. That does not take a million dollars.
