Absolutely amazing game, and the Legends mode is an added bonus. I spent a ton of time with this game, and couldn't recommend it more.

Several of the devs that made the C&C games left to make their own weird-ass voxelly RTS games. 8-bit Armies and now 9-bit Armies. I think RogueSix nailed it; it'll probably be a remaster of the next games in the C&C series.
Personally, I just want Red Alert 3 redone with proper network support. Let me just...host a damn game, so I can play co-op with a friend through the absurd campaign.

Cool, though no gameplay shown.
Why is the human with the AR fielding a rifle without any kind of sights? Not even irons. Bore sighting is the least accurate way of targeting something. With resources being scarce and Terminators being tough as Hell, one would think you would want to make every shot count. Also, why is the Terminator rocking an AR? If this is post Judgement Day, shouldn't it be rocking the Westinghouse R95 first gen plasma rifle?

I wish I had the passion for RTS like in my teen days. I was obsessed with C&C Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge and ultimately spent my last great RTS days with Warcraft 3. I've tried these indie ones, but I can't get into them the same way. At least not for multiplayer.
Same! As i used to LOVE RTS games in my youth, C&C, Warcraft, AOE, Starcraft, TA, Z....
But these days i just play a few missions or skirmishes and i'm pretty much done. Hell, even the new AOE i played during a free weekend and was done within a day.
I'm not even sure why i can't get into them anymore , but glad they are still around!

I love RTS games too. I've been playing this one a little and its not that bad, feels alot like the old days. Since it is being made by the same team that made the old CnC games. These are the same devs from Westwood.
Another game if you don't have it that I absolutely love is Act of Aggression. Play the Reboot Edition. It has only Oil as a resource, where as the original version that no one liked had you mining Rare Earth, Aluminum and had limited amounts of that and Oil that caused the game to stall out badly. This is a really good game, check it out.
To play the reboot edition, its a game type that you launch and choose at the start.
The thing with RTS games is I don't have the patience anymore to learn the units. To learn what each one does, what counters what exactly. That was all a blast to learn during my RA2/Yuri's Revenge days and eventually to Warcraft 3. During those years, I dabbled in almost all RTS games that were out or coming out. I just couldn't get into them the same. They lacked the polish of the RA2/YR and WC3 and in WC3 case, balance perfection. Granted, none of them are perfectly balanced at launch and take many patches. Heck, years of patches, though that is usually what makes Blizzard RTS games (Warcraft, Starcraft) stand the test of time. They go through so many balance patches until it feels perfect.
Nowadays, I stick to mostly single players that are anything but RTS, with the occasional Counter-Strike 2 match. I've dabbled into some newer RTS games including indie ones, but they just don't hold my attention the way they used to.

I'll have to give this a try again. I loved the first game. DL2 was kind of meh for me, mainly because I didn't like the car mechanics. I gave up after the first few missions.

Looks interesting but reviews are saying it's more like alpha than beta atm. Even if it wasn't, online only for a PVE crafting game? Hard pass.

I can’t believe that they think this is a $60 game 🤣

The game looks fun. But no thanks on that rootkit.
Overon wrote on Feb 12, 2024, 15:05:
That explanation letter reads like gross incompetence to me. Also nothing about their root kit DRM/anti-cheat causing people not to be able to play.
