Do you mean "piece"? Though, I guess crap could be considered peaceful as it doesn't do much on it's own once it comes out.

If they would only add keyboard/mouse support to consoles such as the 360, I'd actually consider buying one.

"Late 2008 release? Thats alot of time to work on this game."
It will still be out before DNF though.

Dunno why everyone's a BF2 hater. I'd only be pissed if they were still sitting around polishing it forever like DNF. Yeah there are bugs, but with the range of interaction in the game, that's to be expected.

Who needs bots, when most people have cable/dsl? I think the MP really is (for lack of a better word) awesome! Feels like Quake 3 but looks way betta. Weapon timing is different, but not in a bad way. Can't wait to see all the old maps ported...

ya, but these screens look good: http://www.3dgamers.com/games/quake4/screenshots/ and this isn't the only vid they've put out(E3). At least they show something (unlike some games...DNF). I just haven't met a Quake I didn't like, and I find it hard to believe that they will just trash the legacy. People should save the pissin' and moaning until after they actually play something.

Try other games- I didn't see that mentioned in here (unless I missed it). I can play 1600x1200 high everything in all games except BF2- it will work but lag and lock at times. My solution was to just set everything to medium and then running @ 1600x1200 in BF2 was not a problem. You really don't lose much by setting everything to medium- just a little pride in knowing you have a sweet card that won't run at fullest settings in BF2 (later patches and drivers will prob fix it).

It works on my 5600fx, but not my 4600ti.
It is free.
I have no complaints (the control setup is screwed, but it's only a free demo that was prolly rushed out the door).
I happen to like EA games 'cause I think lots of their games kick ass, including this one.

That's crazy talk- they drop them all off at once (not pre-orders first). I seriously doubt that there will be a shortage of copies, considering the hype. I'll be getting mine the same time you do, minus the pewter thing.
