Permadeath can work just fine if you play on roleplay servers. There were many persistent world servers (Haze for example) for Neverwinter Nights that used permadeath and it really made the whole experience so much better because all your actions always had severe consequences.

One of the recent patches improved the graphics somewhat so it doesn't look as ugly as it did before.

The graphics might be poor but it does have a tons of replayability because everything in the game world is randomly generated.

In Fantasy Warhammer orcs are called orcs.

In Warhammer 40K orcs are called orks.

Blood Bowl uses the fantasy setting so they are called orcs.

Terra Nova was one of the best mech games ever.

Taken from a recent interview:

Game length: The game will be very, very long. We're talking, 90 hours or so, depending mostly on how fast you go through combat and how many sidequests you complete. This was personally the best news of the night. Someone asked how long it would be as a percentage of BG2, and the answer was "90% as long." So, that's just amazing.

It's not a short game.

I liked this. It's simple and fun. There are lots of different weapons and you get to keep them if you win the round which is very nice. I just got a nice AKSU-74 with a grenade launcher attachment.

It's pretty cool and quite complex.

The game is not that hard. After you learn how the melee and skills work, it gets much easier. Also there are usually about 300 players during prime time and that's good for an indy game.

It's a good game when you have 2 balanced teams.

They have updated the game almost every day, which is great. Most of the bugs have been fixed and everything is a lot more polished now.

Looks interesting. Kind of like Infantry Online but with smaller teams.

This is pretty good. Managing your own MMA company is a lot more interesting than fighting.

It's pretty old school but still quite fun and the battles are big. After I finished the demo map I had killed like 1100 enemy soldiers.

Looks nice. Finally a large-scale WW2 RTS where you can command boats, tanks, aircrafts and infantry.

The campaign in NNW2 was 100 times better than the one in NWN 1.
