If the big boys learn anything from the Wii, it should be the pointer. Forget that motion sensing crap, just add the pointer to their systems. It makes FPS games so much better.

I would love some kind of split 360 controller with the same number of keys, but both sides can be used to point and move. You'd need to redesign the grip, but it's doable. The Wii doesn't have enough buttons and the remote style pointer sucks.

24 is practically written week to week as they're airing it. I assume in a haze of pot smoke and shrooms for dinner.

There is a 3rd person view, but you can't go top down ala Diablo.

Yes you can play the game cooperatively.

It's optional. It's not necessary to enjoy the game, so bitching about how people who pay for extra stuff getting extra stuff seems pretty childish to me.

When you carve parts out of a game and then charge extra for it, you're an asshole. There is zero reason why the free multiplayer(I can't believe I even have to say "free" like it's some kind of gift) couldn't have had the large shared stash and more characters. They would have gotten a lot less flack if the subscription was just for extra content that required EXTRA WORK.

I read that it doesn't keep anything in memory, including the map. As soon as you close something, it dumps it from memory. Enter a tiny one room hut and it dumps the world from memory.

Yeah shitty memory management.

How does a neutral party like myself choose a religion? There is no reason to pick one over another. As a matter of fact there as so many, your odds are you are going to pick incorrectly.

Why not sacrifice bulls to Zeus? There's no less evidence for him as any other religion. Hell if I was going to pick one or the other, why wouldn't I pick the one that gets you chicks in the afterlife?

Hump, That's Digital River's policy. Ea doesn't run their own store, they farmed it out.

It just one shit company collaberating with another.

EA uses Digital River for their store, it's a real shit company. You have to pay extra to be able to download your game past one month, even then it only extends it out to 2 years. They do this with all of their stores, normally they limit it to 6 months or a year.

Never buy anything from a Digital River Company.

"Hardcore"

You keep using that word, I don't think it means what you think it means.

If you haven't played it they're dusty old posters on the walls of the subway terminals. I didn't even notice them till this whole thing blew up.

Creston,

There's a few long(10min+) videos out showing a lot of gameplay, from the combat to the inventory and crafting to the story interaction. Not just bullshit cinematic trailers.

Deal or No Deal has to be the lowest form of gameshow imaginable. Is it possible to design one that requires less brainpower?

Yeah Zeph that's what I want to do, uninstall everything on my system before doing a system wipe. Which is what you would have to do if everybody did this.

Saying it's not a big deal is only true if one or two people do it, if everyone started using this protection it would cause serious problems.

I played the 360 demo, nothing more than a on rails action shooter. The timeshift is just a lame gimmick. Essentially it just has scripted sequences that, after they go off, you have to reverse tame, then slow time so you can get past them.

Sounds strange to me also...more like something you might do between Alpha and Beta. There's got to be some kind of major system reworking going on.

Get rid of trick or treat? Are you nuts? That was my favorite night of the year as a kid. I always felt sorry for the kids that were forced to go to parties.
