And yet ANOTHER stretch goal *sigh*

What do you want? It's a crowd funded game and it's still new territory. This game has basically broken the record for crowdfunding a videogame. If they were smart they'd ignore their own stretch goals and just get a competent space combat game put together first, then focus on the other shit they promised.

That is actually their plan. Squadron 47 is the single player campaign that's coming out before Star Citizen. It won't be the open universe.

There's some confusion as to how this game is going to play I think. There's a full single player campaign separate from the sandbox. That is going to be Wing Commander style, missions from a carrier. Even if the sandbox turns out shit, it's worth the 60 bucks right there. That's gonna get released first.

They are also releasing the sandbox universe, which can be played privately or in the open server. Completing the single player game will net you a starting ship for the sandbox universe.

Actually a fair bit of that was gameplay, the IG graphics are identical the regular south park.

I get what you're saying, but "gameplay" to me would be showing the inventory, skill trees, combat rounds, quest log, etc...

To me the draw of the game is playing in an interactive South Park episode. If it feels like a 10 hour episode of South Park where I get to make some of the terrible choices....I'll be happy.

I'm pretty sure I remember them saying that the 500k wasn't enough to get the game made.

Apartment living is highly variable depending on where you're living. I've been at my current apartment for 5+ years now and it's mostly excellent. I have washer/dryer hookups, thick walls so I never hear my neighbors, unless there's a weekend party going on or something. It's mostly young families in my complex so it's pretty quite.

As opposed to my friends in the SF Bay area who mostly hate their apartments.

A controller is better for a lot of games than a mouse/keyboard. Some shit just doesn't translate over.

I've got some lite keys Cutter but can't just send a code, need to send it to an email or a steam account.

EDIT: I should say I have some ARMA 3 lite Steam "gifts".

That'd be wicked Cab. You can email me through Blues or just friend me on Steam where my id is...Cutter, oddly enough.

I can't email through blue's, steam requires I enter an email address, and there's a lot of Cutters on steam. You can mail me your steam profile url or an email adress to send the code to.

WoW's problems were as a result of it's completely unexpected, by everybody, success. That really is a different category from games that just don't work at launch.

We don't know much about how they took over the planes. The only thing we have to go on is a few phones call made by passengers.

They were probably working on assets for other games. Mass Effect had a lot of stuff farmed out to their various studios.

Oh, fucking great.

Re: Watch dogs

“Watch Dogs is all about hyperconnectivity,” said Morin. “To me, that has to mean all the time and anywhere. So yes, other people are out there all the time, when you don’t expect it. Whether you’re playing single-player or multiplayer, it’s happening. You’re saying asynchronous but it’s much more real-time than that…”

So, always-on then?

Creston

Are you folks all still using dial up or something? Aren't you "always-on" to begin with? Gods the things people choose to complain about amaze me.

So in your fantasy land authentication servers are up 24/7 and never go down...like say at launch....for days.
