I was at the Mettallica/Korn/System of a Down concert in ...Dallas I think. Hatfield hurt his back or something jet skiing and couldn't play. Turned out pretty damn cool anyway, the other bands guitarists took turns playing the Metallica songs they knew. They pretty much only knew songs from Black and before, which I prefer anyway. Lars had said Korn was his favorite band, so they tried to get him to play one of their songs, but he didn't know any.

I remember that GnR/Metallica concert, because I was just about the only kid in my high school not to do. They had the Oakland concert during a school day and I was told NO! Funnily enough so many people from my high school cut to go, we didn't really have classes that day, all the teachers just made them open periods.

If the cards do not need to be identical and I can just put my old card in the SLI slot to use for physics and the new one for graphics, then I'd go SLI. I'm not going to go SLI at the same generation tho, too much hassle for the cost.

The main thing is the game seems to want to please a wide range of interests, from the older Simcity crows to the Sims fans. Usually this is a recipe for disaster, we shall see if the pulls it off.

I used the original SLI, pair of Orchids. I think I had a Matrox 2d card, all the rage when 2d quality mattered.

I messed around with SLI with a pair of 7800GTX and came to the conclusion it just wasn't worth the effort. Too often games required a bunch of meddling. It helps that my 8800GTX has been able to max everything since I bought it way back when.

I believe the devs have said they plan on releasing a story driven campaign as an expansion, maybe a year out. They didn't have a team large enough to tackle what is the current game as well as a single player campaign.

I know the core of the PS3 is good tech, but if you're not getting anything out of it that you can't get out of the the 360, it's stupid. M$ just slapped in some pretty basic cores and are getting the same results.
It doesn't matter that some programmers don't have a problem learning it, the fact is others are and that's a problem. It's a stupid problem if you're not getting anything out of it that you can't get out of a simpler design.
It's a little hard for me to be a fanboy since I don't console game much. I've only got a 360 because it was the only HD media center extender at the time.

I don't know why people defend having to learn how to code for the PS3. The results are the same as the 360 version, yet no one has to "learn" how to make games for the 360. It's just fucking retarded to do it that way. Production costs are already enough without the added overhead of learning a new system.
If someone ever makes a game that is significantly more impressive visually, fine I'll accept that. So far all it's been able to do is equal the 360. The new FF engine is supposed to take advantage of the stupid core of the PS3, but they've had to delay it again because they can't get it to work.

Ok think of it as a 4x themed RTS. It's a lot slower than most RTS games, in most RTS games a map is over in under 2 hours. With Sins, the game could just be getting warmed up, unless you're playing on the smallest map.
There's options to speed the game up some, but it won't ever play like regular RTS speed. |

You may find the 360 controller a better fit for Ass Creed on the PC than the mouse. The ability to easily control speed while traversing some stuff is very helpful.

Lets say the worst happens and it gets a little hotter, the cap melts, and the good farming moves a bit north. What's going to cause our near extinction?
I am actually curious as to what the terrible downside is to global warming, for people.
