If some jackass actually said to my face that Evolution is "just a theory", I don't think I'd be able to restrain myself from slapping them across the face.
Some of you folks need to pick up a middle school science textbook and maybe take some notes. I think the main problem is the way the word is used in common language. When the average numbnut uses "theory" they really mean "hypothesis".

Bad animation, I expect but dull graphics is disappointing. Hopefully the PC version will have far better textures than the console counterpart.
The PC port of Oblivion was identical to the console version, low res textures and shit interface. Why would this be any different? |

It's funny when you watch moves in HD you can see how movies are shown with the backgrounds purposely out of focus so that you're attention in drawn to the actors so the super clarity they brag about with HD movies is a bit of a joke when most of the screen is intentially out of focus...
Seriously...do you even know how focus works? |

EA has stars in their greedy little eyes. Despite the example of SWG, they seem to think that slapping the SW name on something makes it worth as much money as WoW.
It did keep SWG alive this long didn't it? Had it been called Star Rangers or sumsuch it'd have died within a couple of years. |

Have you fed that TV the exact same signal, one 720p and one 1080p? How close are you sitting? The vast majority of HD TV review sites will tell you there is little difference 50" and under. I have also done quite a bit of comparison viewing at stores. The only real benefit is if you can see SDE, the small 1080p pixels basically remove that effect.
It's mostly a moot point tho, most of the newer sets are 1080p anyway. Very few quality 720p sets are being produced. Last years Pioneer was probably one of the last.
Console games are 99% 720p or less.

| It's not the resolution so much as the bitrate. Unless you've got over a 50" screen going from 720 to 1080 isn't that big of a deal. Blueray movies do have 3-5x the bitrate of downloaded HD movies, including sound. |

I'm a huge Fallout fan but couldn't give two shits about the turn based combat. For me, it was great because of the dialogue, characters, and quests. There is zero chance Bethesda matches them on those three fronts.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, I'd prefer it as a shooter if it matched the originals in those three fronts.
