"Ultra pure" water cannot kill you. Who the hell is responsible for that pseudo science? No, it does not leech all the minerals from your body. No, you do not need the trace amounts of minerals in the "regular" water just to live. Almost all your minerals are supplied by food.

I'm not sure who David Rees is, but at the very least some qualified scientist at their lab should have just drank some of the water and demonstrated the ability to BE ALIVE afterwards. The PR people should have each drunk a gallon of their ultra pure water on camera, sheesh.

Pseudo-science is slowly killing humanity.

It actually does leech minerals from your body....but it takes a loooong time to have even a small impact.

Do I really need to spell out that I'm not talking about a handful of rabid space game fanboys who'll give their eye teeth for a space game, but the vast majority of "normal" people. I don't know if you guys are multi-millionaires or live at home with your parents but for most of us with real life commitments and debts, then yes $150+ for a game is completely fucking absurd. As was discussed last night, even $60 is considered too much by most these days. Most people aren't even looking at games until they're hitting $30 and under.

If you're throwing 'majority' into the mix, then it's worth mentioning that the median U.S. income [per individual] is ~26k per year - which in many urban areas isn't even enough to live on.
So yeah, most people can't spend $150 on a game. Most can't spend $10 on game.

But let's also consider folks that say, went to college for STEM or law, and got a job before the slow down hit (still a lot of people). Or folks that were bright enough to run and successfully market their own business (self employed - still a lot of people).
Assuming they weren't stupid enough to load up on debt, to them, dropping $150 once in a blue moon on game isn't even worth a second thought.

Basically, what is or isn't a lot of money is relative.
What was it that Niel DeGrasse Tyson said? Him passing up a dime on the ground because it's not worth his effort to bend over for it, is like Bill Gates passing up 45k.

And yeah, things can change very quickly, for anyone.

You can't use a countrywide median income and then say it's nto enough to live on in urban areas. You'd need the median income for that specific area for it to mean anything.

Median individual income is 46k per person and 72k per household in San Francisco county.

That's my first question, where's the human and the leash that should be attached to the dog?

Second Question, how do I train the 3 cats in my house to be assault cats?

If you let them roam freely...they will make your house their home territory and defend it. At the expense of all the birds in your area.

So people in here bitch when the stretch goals seem like too much work. Then when they are clearly winding down on the scope people bitch that the stretch goals are not a lot of work.

EDIT: I see I was beaten to this observation.

If you are getting killed regularly by the smart pistol, you do suck at the game. It takes ages for the thing to lock on, it's only good for ambushing pilots and killing grunts. It's just a beginner weapon that helps people get into the game, that's it.

I have a 120gb ssd for my os and a 500gb ssd for games. That's more than enough room. If you can't afford to get anything other than a 120 SSD....get a platter drive and stop bitching.

Complaining about the install size is just bitching cause you like to bitch.

I didn't realize the game actually has different kinds of Titans. That seems pretty cool.

It even has a titan that sets off a nuclear explosion when it dies, in case you suck at driving titans. At least you can suicide bomb people.
