I suppose I could add bluesnews to a cookie exception rule, presumably if I'm telling it to exclude bluesnews cookies, that wouldn't exclude any of the piles of ads on blues. I don't want them doing all sorts of cookies.

I don't think that would effect any ad cookies, as they are from different servers, the only cookies from bluesnews.com are to cover things like passwords, and nothing to do with ads.

I this case, I am willing to bet the online aspect is more about blocking mods than DRM. Their business model is probably going to be selling new classes and dungeons via DLC. Modders would probably just go and implement the other 4th edition classes and wreck their model.

From that same interview:

The Forge, the toolset, how extensive is that going to be for players?

What we've done is take versions of our own tools and skin them, simplify them, and make it possible for players to create things like we do every day. Naturally that means they can be extremely complex, and one of the things we're looking at now is ways of organizing the tools so that people can get in and do it without needing extensive knowledge of 3-D tools. Fans of the original Neverwinter I don't think will be disappointed, and my personal goal is to include a group of people, like myself, who just want to get in and make simple adventures without having to tackle a large amount of complexity. It's easy to make complex tools.

Uh, so you forgot it was out there or you weren't home when it started to rain?

I was not aware she left it out, and we went to the home of friends for dinner on Saturday night, so I only discovered the situation late Sunday morning when I looked out the window.

What the frak with the reply title? LOL. A bug?

Apparently -- Hellslayer doesn't answer his email. Frans even once changed his password into a message asking him to contact us, figuring he'd read it when he retrieved it, but to no effect.

It's not a troll. Turn-based game design is so primitive it's a pitiful waste of development time.

Do you really have that hard a time distinguishing between your opinion and fact?

Looks cool.

Doesn't Ubisoft have that online DRM? Also, perhaps I'm blind, but I didn't see a pc symbol at the end of the clip. Will it be for the PC?

Nope, its not there, looks to be console only.

7/ On which platforms will your project be available and when ?

It’ll be available on Playstation Network, Xbox Live Arcade & downloadable for PC on Spring 2011

6. Following the E3 announcement, a lot of PC gamers are interested as well by the game. Anything on a PC version in the works ?

We’re working on a PC version as well. As for the PS3 and X360 versions, the targeted release date is 2011 and the distribution will be digital-only.

I too have lost my little red asterisks next to new posts. Did a subsection of the bluetower collapse?

Not sure why that would be... they still appear for me, and nothing has changed on our end. Perhaps some update to your internet security software is messing with the cookies that make this work?

Put plainly it is fucking ridiculous that no one is being charged for this.

I am a little mystified as well, especially the part about not being able to determine "criminal intent," as I thought the overriding principle to be ignorance of the law is not an excuse.

Aye, looks like Ubisoft is at it again. They distribute these videos and then put wacky content blocks them from some territories when you post them on YouTube. I'm afraid there's not much I can do about that, but I've written them to see what the story is.

Wait, you're skipping the Jersey-Bowl between the Jets and Giants over who is the real owner of the new stadium tonight?

Build a fire in the back yard, throw all the Giants stuff in there.

I'll be checking in with the game, but it's kind of sad that they played into this rivalry over the stadium to reschedule the Giants/Jets from the traditional third game of the preseason to the first (so they can both play in the first NFL game there). Preseason football kind of sucks to start with, but the first game is always the worst, with a lot of starters sitting out, the rest going a quarter or less, and a bunch of other guys getting to play before they get cut this week.

They can say what they want, but this game isn't for bragging rights, it's for gagging rights.

And either way, for me it will always be Giants Stadium.

Does this miniseries have many action/fight scenes, nudity, etc. like Starz's Spartacus and HBO's Rome?

The Pillars of the Earth is *far* less over the top and stylized than Spartacus. It's much closer to Rome in tone, as it's about the intrigues of religious and political power in the middle ages.
