Well, now that it's August, I guess I'll have to admit defeat in my efforts at convincing MrsBlue we should acquire a portable air conditioner.

Don't be a pansy, Blue!

It's a little late for that now. Embarrassed

Blue, do you host and administrate your own web site online from home?

Nope.
Ah OK. I thought you did. Heh. Do you go to the data server place?

Nope, it's 3000 miles away from me.

Is that the official foodstuff of Sys Admins?

I think that would be Hot Pockets. Chef

Being CMV negative meant I had never been exposed to CMV. I did not have the CMV anti-bodies in my blood. Which in turn, meant I didn't have CMV in my blood. This only gains significance when you find out that, "HCMV is found throughout all geographic locations and socioeconomic groups, and infects between 50% and 80% of adults in the United States (40% worldwide)."

I had a similar experience. After my first checkup with a new doctor many years ago he told me I had no herpes antibodies, and according to him, this was true of fewer than 10% of people my age. I was stunned at that statistic, as I don't think it's very widely known.

Keep in mind that this list probably represents a fairly pitiful sales volume so its unfortunately not very helpful in terms of predictions.

To be clear, this is based on gameplay activity, not sales.

like that dumb fuck who was saying "its chalk full of goodness"

I removed that sentence from the quote (I meant to in the first place), since it is part of the site's commentary, rather than from Perlman.

Haha, gotcha. After all the things I've admitted to over the years, I'm not likely to get embarrassed over something like that.

For the taxes issue, it's amazing how many people are arrested per year claiming taxes are unconstitutional, despite there being an amendment mostly devoted to them.

I would have thought that Wesley Snipes being behind bars for attempting to avoid taxes under this precept would have diminished the number of people believing it, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

In the words of Hudson, "I am ready! Ready to get it on!" You punks ready for a Green Bay repeat this year? I know I sure am, hahaha!

Even with last year's Super Bowl win, since you say the Pack will take it all ever year, your track-record on such predictions is already not so great. But I have a little more rain for your projected victory parade:

Historically, there's more than a 50% greater chance that the Pack will watch the playoffs on TV with the rest of us than they will win back-to-back titles like they did in the Lombardi days:

  • Number of repeat Super Bowl winners in NFL history: 8.

  • Number of Super Bowl winners who failed to even make the playoffs the next season: 13(!).

  • But it gets worse: No Super Bowl winner has ever even made the playoffs the season after an NFL work stoppage. The three such teams (one of them being the Giants) had a combined record of 15 wins and 25 losses.

As they say in stock ads, previous results are no guarantee of future performance, but you are certainly swimming against the tide.

Heh, I noticed women hate the AC like my mom, my friend's mom, etc. They always say too cold (not even hot to them) and too expensive. Blue, I am also upstair and it goes up to 90F degrees during the heat waves. How hot is it in in your office room? :(

My office is the finished attic... I have never experimented, but I would bet anything that without AC it would have reached the 120s up here every day last week.

How do the dogs feel? Do they vote for AC too?

I would say they do. This is my best argument for getting another AC unit, but so far has not helped. It's worse for Gunnar-man, but after I gave him a haircut last week and he's been much more comfortable, so while I'm happy for him, I didn't help my cause.

We've been divorced from UGO for a long time now, so it's doubtful this is coming from them, but I'm having a tough time understanding what you're describing... why do you need to hit f5, is it some sort of pop-up?

Haha, 12,731. So applying this "American Formula" that means we have about 193 psychos in the mix.

Wow, didn't see that story at first. Yeah, I was just near Borough Park (or Boro Park) a couple of weeks ago when we took my step-grandma out to lunch. It is almost entirely Orthodox there, and one of those places where people have always felt safe day or night. It's about the last place in New York you would expect such a thing to happen.

Removing the time limit on trials is far from going "Free to Play", this is the definition of a sensationalist headline.

    Please justify that criticism.

Free-to-play (F2P) refers to any game that has an option of allowing its players to play without paying. Some of these games have both a free version and a Pay to Play version that offers the full version of the game and all of the updates. Free-to-play games with pay-to-play components utilize the freebie marketing technique to draw in a user base with this advanced type of game demo. The term "free-to-play" is frequently heard in the context of massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs).
