Blue I assume youve been to the vet? Maybe the problem is a physiological one rather than psychological?

She concluded that this is classic male dog marking behavior. I think she's right: There's nothing at all that's gone on that indicates otherwise. For example: Left alone, he will mark the stove within *minutes*. If I bring him up to my office with me, he can go for hours with no issue.

Really? Post about congress taking 5 weeks off? How about posting about Obama and His vacations? How about posting His schedule? Guess what, I read his schedule for a few days the other day. He met with the VP and after that it was all about fundraising. If you are going to bring politics in here, be at least fair about it.

Funny, I thought Congress was comprised of both parties. You really can take offense at anything, can't you?

Jinx clearly has an attitude problem. Like that one person in every office, if he'd stop bitching at people and concentrate on what he should be doing, he'd be a lot more successful.

Jinx's attention span reminds me a lot of the Gunnar-man's.

I know... like I said, it just flashed for a second, and the smoke detector went off before I had the chance to correlate that it stopped when he started staying in my office, the marking was clearly a male lifting his leg, etc.

It's funny the illogical thoughts that can flash through our minds.

The DSL seems to be fine on our end. The site is working great!

This is my connection I'm talking about... The site itself is on a somewhat more substantial pipe.

Heh, yeah, my sad attempt at humor. I meant that your "slower" DSL connection hasn't affected us at all.

Are you really noticing a difference? Web surfing and stuff would seem to be about the same. You'd just notice it if you tried to download all 30 GB of Max Payne.

Surfing web pages you generally don't notice the difference. Streaming media and things like that become problems, though.

Stating facts is not "misbehaving." But silencing the opposition is what you do when you can't win on the merits, isn't it, Blue?

You seem to have mistaken me for your opposition in this debate.

And anyone who frequents these forums knows how ridiculous it is to suggest you were banned for "stating facts." You'll have to sell that canard to a less informed audience.

Wife told me today she hadn't seen our roomate. Good friend of ours who had fallen on hard times the past year, so we rented a room to him cheap. I checked on him tonight, looks like he passed away last evening in his sleep....

Sorry to hear that man. Was nice that you guys were there for him in a time of need.

Condolences.

I wondered that also...but now that I look again, the story is listed under images, so I wonder if something got crossed...

Maybe the fact that the image is larger than the article's text and Whedon and Fillion are squinting fairly heavy in that shot? My only guess.

That's all of it. The image seemed to be the majority of the story, and Nathan Fillion looks as stoned as Snoop Dogg in it.

Blue couldn't finish typing, because as he got to that sentence he realized the Tree guys were actually home-invaders and they silenced him.

Lol... sorry for the cliffhanger.

Seriously though, without reading the rest of the post... that is one of the things I'd be wary off. You hire some guys to do something: tree stuff, roof stuff, security-system stuff, etc. then they know the layout of your home and perhaps your schedule.

Having them "stop by" unannounced would give me pause to wonder what they were doing there.

Those are good concerns to have when dealing with workers. In this case, this is a bonded company we've dealt with before. They also have never entered the house, so I'm less concerned than one might normally be. I think it was all an honest mistake.

Try eating some veg and fruit once in a while, Blue. You eat way too much meat and meat by-products.

I don't actually mention most of what I eat here... just chronicling the adventures of Manstovia, where many a veggie gets grilled as well.

And meat by-products? Really? Do you know what those are? I don't even let my dogs eat that stuff.

What is a "de facto" review of a cheat's effectiveness? I mean, what other kind of review is there?

The other kind would be if the site listed it as a review of cheating methods rather than as an analysis of why one player started cheating.

Were you expecting a different explanation?

I don't see many people talking about their kids around here. Makes me wonder how many other members are DINKs in their 30's (or up).

We were talking a bit about how DINKy our circle is, and whether this reflected our situation or a change in general. There were four couples at dinner Saturday, and only one had kids. Definitely not a baby boom.
