Nature.com versus investors.com. Are you sure you have properly identified the party with an agenda here?

So someone bought the keys, did a chargeback, and then resold them to people?

No, someone bought keys with stolen credit cards and sold them, and when the cardholders protested the chargebacks occurred.

I'll say I've never had a single problem with GreenManGaming, and I've bought 10 games from them...

As said, I don't think this applies to GMG.

Or you know... posts you want to have deleted.

Yeah, blue, censorship will do it. It worked so well for the Nazis. No better way to protect the bigots and racists, right?

Yes, that's my goal. To protect bigots and racists. Because the forums here are based on Nazi ideology.

And here I thought I was curtailing a possible flame war being provoked by someone who can't follow the most basic and oft repeated rule of avoiding personal attacks here.

"Censorship." Just... Wall

I saw the Misfits. I used to own the body of the Strat that hit me in the head after it was thrown into the audience.

That's not the Misfits.

Man, wouldn't it be great if everyone did this! Blue would have such great revenue!
Blue's is one of the sites I specifically disable ABP on for exactly that reason. It's not just about impeding him from making money, it's about the fact that loading the site without loading ads costs him money.

Thanks, I appreciate the support.

I don't really care one way or the other, but you have a ton of Lifelock ads running. Not sure if you have a policy about ads from companies that have been found to be nothing but a scam.

I will certainly address actual scams, but that article does not state Lifelock is "nothing but a scam" at all, though it notes questionable aspects of their operation and founder, who ended up resigning. In a more current analysis, it seems fairer to say that you might not need to pay for any services they offer, but you can say that about a lot of businesses. You can mow your lawn or call a gardener.

He hasn't responded to any of the multiple scam ad warnings I have sent him. How many times do I have to see "(insert city here) Mom finds secret to (insert secret here)"

That's a generic filler ad I see on almost every site I visit... I hope I don't need to concern myself you are going to fall for an overblown teeth whitening promise. The bigger problem is that it's appearing instead of an ad that will actually return me revenue, and I'm trying a new ad provider to accomplish that. The Lifelock ads seem to be one of the new outfit's fallback filler ads, and I doubt they pay much of anything either. Hopefully they will be able to replace that with real ads and you won't have to worry about it either way.

Good luck. I want to support the site, but between the takeover ads, loud popups, and scams, I am about to turn them all off again.

Either something has gone completely haywire with how ads are being served locally for you, or you have confused this site with some other, as (having addressed the "scam" thing above) this is the first I've heard of takeover ads or loud popups in the longest time. I'm at a complete loss as to why you would say that.

Same with my rotty.

I Googled skunks this morning to see how unusual it was to see them active in winter. The funniest thing I saw in my reading is that apparently only two creatures in nature willingly go after skunks: Great horned owls, as they apparently have little to no sense of smell, and dogs, because as the Wikipedia put it, they are "reckless predators whose attacks fail once they are sprayed."

"Oh fuck no you don't" *click cancel*

And that's the story of the first banner ad I clicked in nearly a decade.

Was that here?

Although my colorblindness has made me feel uncomfortable at times, I have found a nice perk to it. Apparently because of the way the color and light comes into the eye, red/green (mine isn't severe) colorblindess allows me to haev better "night vision". I can almost always see a hell of a lot more and a hell of a lot better in the dark than my peers. I had a conversation with an army buddy who said it helped him in Iraq. He said he could often see in the dark better than his peers. I always thought I could see well in the dark, but didn't know it was linked to my colorblindness. I just figured everyone else sucked at seeing in the dark.

Same here.

Peterson MVP and comeback player of the year!

Except Peterson was injured so late last year, he still had a great season, so he made a tremendous comeback from the injury, but but he did not have a comeback season, because in that sense, he never went away.

As for the question about the Koch days: He was mayor during a time when the city was dirtier, more crime-ridden, and corrupt. And it was better that way. At least that's how my memory is making it out to be.

Well, there's not much to say... We've been getting occasional lockups lately and have not yet met with any success in trying to track down the cause. My apologies for the outages, hopefully we'll have a breakthrough soon in figuring out what's wrong.
