How about barring site entry to those uncouth swine who haven't deigned to read the books?

Sorry, Blue: hand in your keys on the way out.

Hey, I'm about 3/4ths through book one... I'm deigning as fast as I can!

On a few other forums I read they've had to separate the discussion threads into people who have read the books and people who haven't.

Or, more aptly, the Intelligentsia vs the Filthy Heathens?

Speaking of Tywin... (SPOILER)

For the future, can I ask that book spoilers be made further distinct from show spoilers? That sort of ruined my day, even if it was my fault for reading it.

I said SPOILER and I put it in secret text. I'm not really sure what else to do?

Creston

Maybe (Show spoiler) vs. (Book spoiler)?

Yeah, I was thinking something like that. Anyway, as I say, it was my fault. Especially since there was nothing from the show involving him that would have warranted the spoiler warning.

Hospitals Struggle to Get Workers to Wash Their Hands

She told us at dinner the other night she would have to wash her hands every 5 minutes if she went by literal hospital policy.

Care to share the name of her hospital so I'll know to avoid it?

I'd prefer a place where they followed the standards set forth for sanitation, rather than their own judgment.

Really enjoying the game and at 15.00 you really cant go wrong. It has a really cool historic aspect mini game that is very interesting. You find these cards in the game and it gives you true facts about a particular event or person in the old west. Overall I'm really enjoying it. Reminds me of "Outlaws" a bit.

Outlaws was a fantastic game that never got the widespread appreciation and admiration it deserved. And, as has been noted, Outlaws' soundtrack is amazing.

If I made a top 10 list of favorite all-time games, Outlaws would be ranked very high. If I made a list of favorite all-time game soundtracks, I'm guessing Outlaws would be number one.

BTW, this demo popped up on Monday, but has not yet been reported on any other English speaking game sites that I know of, which will make this very aggravating for me when it gets reported elsewhere tonight and tomorrow without acknowledgement of where it came from.

Sorry, pretty unimportant in the scheme of things, but I just needed to vent in advance. I'm eager to apologize further if I turn out to be wrong, which would be a pleasant surprise.

Wow, hate speech much?

Hate speech? Seriously? I guess the bar must be rolling around on the ground these days...

Only from people who are too frightened and incapable of rationally and logically discussing the pros and cons of any topic. It's now de rigueur to whine and cry "hate speech" or "racism" when you don't like what someone says but can't effectively and intelligently present a counter argument.

That's it... someone couldn't come up with an effective retort for the compellingly stated argument of calling someone a "religious nut"?

I didn't realize bigotry needed a more direct counterargument than being called out.

I'd delete this post for the needless jab but for the need to address the question that follows. I think its safe to assume everyone has there own opinions formed already on religion without your inflammatory editorial.

Also, the reviewer is "Blue" -- is that this site's owner?

No. I don't have a TM on the name or anything, but I'm not sure why someone wouldchoose to do that.

Blue, my "mastery of facts" involve a tiny amount of journalistic assertion, and fact-checking, rare these days i know. you run a website focused on journalism. I'd think that you would be pro journalism, and not insinuating that i'm trying to be a "mind-reader", for looking up facts instead of spouting opinion disguised as facts. come on dude.

I don't think you follow my point. You can disagree with someone without calling them a liar, much less repeatedly. The mind reader comment was simply to say that no one needs you parsing who is lying versus who is mistaken versus who is simply disagreeing with your opinion.

This has nothing to do with journalism, this has to do with courtesy. Read forum rule #1.

*Also feel free to join the ever increasing ranks of the official BluesNews Slick Fanclub. with my 148 posts i've generated more hate on here than i think anyone else, i'm going for the high score.

You probably can't win, but you're obviously trying. Speaking of which, I'm going to ask you to stop calling anyone who disagrees with you a liar. Your mastery of facts does not cover mind-reading.

Damn you nin! Beat me to it while I was verifying...

I literally had both links open in tabs and kept flipping back and forth.

Thankfully I figured this out before going further down the road to madness.

The URL was correct in Blammo, but the "I" was even capitalized if I viewed the source code. I was going to post again about how mysterious this was when I remembered I added a tag a while ago to capitalize "Internet" when I forgot to. This is because I decided years ago capitalizing it made as little sense as would capitalizing "television" or "magazine," but I finally decided my stand was not actually influencing the situation, and I might as well follow convention.

I deleted the tag, and will have to live with the consequences if I forget and write it as "internet."

Yeesh.
